"I must have dialed the wrong number", then dropped. ANOTHER PAIN IN THE [***] CALL

Just now posting this enev though it was a couple of weeks ago.

Got the call on Monday 7/21 at my business at 8:46pm (we close shop at 5pm). No one here to answer, did not have the recorder on.

Never answered call.. Came to THIS website.  Everybody here has the same problem I do.  On DO NOT CALL list, but still....

Called our fax # at 9:00pm on a Sunday night which rings on our land line phone

This is North American Bancard in Troy Michigan. They are number miners.
Thay don't want to sell you anything, they just want you to answer so they can sell your number as an (ACTIVE ANSWER) I found lots of info on these people on this site at number 2482836080. check it out.
Even if you ask them to stop calling, they still call from one or all of their many other companies.

Just got a call from the number, but I didn't answer.

they got me out the shower then hung up when I answered

I got the "I must have called the wrong number." My call log recorder tells me that it is North American at 248-283-6062.

I just received a call from this phone #.  After I said Hello, the response I got was that she must have gotten the wrong #.

Just the same message " Sorry I must have the worng number"

Called and I just let machine answer. Caller ID said NORTH AMERICAN 248-283-6062. They left NO MESSAGE.

Answered the phone on Sunday night at 7:50 heard a digitalized female voice "Sorry wrong Number" when I answered with a "Hello".  The call came to my cell phone and caller id said Michigan.  We can run but we can't hide cause they're everywhere...  Darn telemarketers!

If you get a un-solicited call,
Stay on the line as long as you can and runn there phone bill up as much as you can!

I have done this,
I stayed on the line quite awhile and I just listened and did not say anything and they kept transfering me to different people and companys (This all started out with a add for loans) I then got sent to a dentist office, A beauty Saloan, A disconected phone number, Voicemail ETC... AND THEY STILL CANNOT HANG UP!!! O THE IORNEY. LOL I THINK I HAVE BEN ON THE LINE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR NOW! I just set the phone down and I went about my day. This is "GREAT" I think I will waste a bit of there time and cost them money in the mean time!!! HAVE A NICE DAY Dave....
By the way I forgot to say I did press the #1 just to see who would answer.

I just had another thought,
When you get un-solicited calls act as though you are very interested but you do not give out information over the phone.
Schedual a meeting if you can but do not give them your address give them someone elses like a pollice dept ETC... let them waste there time not yours. (MAYBE THIS WILL HELP IF THEM GET THE POINT IF NOT YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH IT WILL HELP YOU) I did it it really works & it can be alot of fun!

Received a call from 248-283-6062. When I answered, a recorded voice stated "I must have the wrong number".

Got telemarketing call to my cell phone at 10:35 pm offering business loans. I've reported them to the Michigan Attorney General and suggest each of you do the same using their website: https://secure1.state.mi.us/complaints/consumer.aspx  The phone number prefix is likely Oakland County, near or in Detroit.
