Same old tired credit scam robocall, from a new (probably spoofed) number.  They rapidly change numbers, making it difficult to block.

We NEVER answer. VM message requests caller leave message and if WE want to talk to THEM we will call back. Have both phone ringers turned off.  Phone flashes if we have received a call so we can check from who.  Life is sooo peaceful. TV will show  if watching it the phone number calling and ID so we could see if we need to answer.  Kids call our cells. Life is sooo peaceful.  I only listed this as telemarketer from previous entries.

Called at 3:57pm. Diverted by a service I subscribe to that intercepts robo-dialed calls (rhymes with SoNoHobo). I had seen this same Caller I.D. before, plus the I.D. made it plain that this is yet another lower your credit card rate scam, so I didn't even bother to call back. Again, 800notes still has no Call Type that fits this most frequent spam-type call, so I'm leaving it "Unknown."

Finally gave up trying to block landline calls. Now forward all to my cell, where a simple little free app uses my contacts as a whitelist and blocks everything else. Stunning how much quieter it is. Any genuine caller can leave a message for me.

Robo call different # again credit scam bill [***]!! Why after 13or more complaints do they still have a number?  After x amount of complaints the # should be terminated and the owner NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE PHONE # AT ALL.

Firstly, yeah, they called me repeatedly on my DNC landline 1st thing in the morning. Will call afternoon and evening, along with a dozen other scammers. Forwarding my calls is a great idea – I am sick of living in fear of my own telephone, and blocking numbers on my landline is prohibitively expensive. Again, I appreciate the suggestion and will give it a try.

I couldn't agree more! I know they will just change the numbers, but I've complained to the FCC scores of times so I know they will never do anything that sensible.

Received call with no message left. Assumed it was s scam so called back blocking my #. I called 3 separate times and received 3 separate messages. One for informing me that I was eligible for a knee brace. One informed me that if I was over 65 and had Medicare, I was eligible for a back brace either free or very low cost. What the hell is that kind of hook????
And the 3rd call informed me that I was eligible for a $100.00 target gift card for only a nominal fee of $1.95.
It appears this is the # for scam central. Be it a low interest credit card scam, a gift certificate or a knee and or back brace offer.
    Such BS!
Why hasn't anyone figured out a way to stop these evil people from cheating and stealing and harassing the public @ large??

Thank everyone for posting so we can not only get our frustrations out but know what type of scam. They called we dont answer unknows no message. I have tried everything had pages of blocked calls they use different numbers for same scam. I even call them back if i am bored watching tv. One call just says cust serv then press  for operater that is never there then one i did this for days they changed number every day and i called for half hour at a time. Believe it or not they have stopped calling. The irs call i left them call back numbers for fbi. The microsoft scam i had fun with all day he ended up yelling at me. No i do have a life but after years we have to do something. Oh yes the you can get rich by doing property research he wanted sixty bucks gave him a bogus bank account number and they never called back. Ok i will stop now but so tired of this nutty stuff would like to blow them off the earth

Considering they're probably spoofing the number, your "plan" would only affect the innocent person who actually owns the number.
