The AT&T Galaxy and probably other cell phones can block unwanted calls.  Whenever it shows a number not in my contacts, instead of answering I look the number up.  If it is a robo or other marketer, so-called survey or charity, goto Phone, Settings, Call Settings, Call rejection (Manage Auto reject mode), Auto reject list (Manage auto reject number list), +, etc.  

I have moved my landline to my cellphone, identified every caller and eliminated many nuisance calls.  It is nice to not be interrupted and bothered by robots, scams and idiots.

Number unknown to me.

How can I stop these calls?  They seem to come every day.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Just got a call and they left a message that was a fUllman minute of them beat boxing.

I know who this phone call is from. It is from Work at Home Edu. The voicemail directs to their corporate office at 877-935-4512 X212 (Richard). I have contacted wahedu and they swear that is not their phone number. These people are an out and out scam and they are liars. I got caught in their scam and cancelled. Now they won't leave me alone.

Receiving voice mail on my cell phone and the number 1-253-209-0379 is an unwanted phone call, as I have not given out my cell phone number to the person who is calling, and they are unknown to me and the phone  number they are using to call has many reporting that it is a scam.

they left no message or at least we cant get into it from my cell phone and now my voice mail wont work since that number showed up in my message box too so now i have to redo my message box and pin number too.

Call comes in on my son's cell phone about once or twice a month. Never anyone there, never leaves a message just a series of clicking noises on the vm.

First received several calls from unknown number.  When answered valley said needed to deliver documents for signature.  I hung up and they called back and left a message.  Wierd hat my vm # is showing as 253.209.0379 instead of my actual vm #.  This concerns me.  Are they on my vm? Does anyone know the answer to this question???

Typical fake collection scam that comes up again every few years or so.  These scum pretend to be the IRS, or some other agency, and you will go to jail, court, Etc. if you don’t pay up right now. Never give them any info and do not call back any number from them as this can put huge and fraudulent charges on certain types of phone accounts. The FCC recently announced it is working on a crackdown of these kinds of scams, including a technology to block their calls en masse before they even reach your phone.  This would be easier than going after the actual scammers as many of them are off-shored in India or other areas with inadequate laws. (don’t believe the area code on your caller ID, it’s virtually always a fake)  I like to waste their time by insulting the hell out of them – but all in German. They can’t understand a word and it drives them nuts!

I have been receiving multiple calls a day from this number.  Because it is an automated call, I can't call back.  The calls seem to be from a school, and are addressing "Brown Bear" families with information about their child's school activities. As I am on a pay-per-call system, I am charged for each voicemail left.  I have blocked the number, but they continue to show up and cause me tons of voice mails, so I have to run through the phony ones in order to hear my own messages. HELP!!  Who is doing this?  I live in Eastern Washington and this is a Western Washington dialer.

This number (253-209-0379), was in my contacts list and I do not know who it is, came here to find out.
I have been called by people I do not know saying that they are returning my call (they used *69).
I have eleven outgoing calls in my phone log to 253-209-0379, which I did not make. (one or two a month)
Can they forward calls through my phone?      I have deleted them as a contact and blocked the #.

By the way, I am on a pay per call plan through Airvoice (its a sub group of AT&T) and they get paid for every call I make or receive....Please state your phone service supplier when you leave a complaint, see if there are similarities. thanks

I down loaded off of the the Google play store.  It is called "DU caller " Once you get the phone call after installation you can block it with the app.  There are quite a few apps that you can download for little or no money.  DU Caller I happen to like the rating.  Plus if they have Info on a name with the number it will tell you.  You might look them up if your phone is a smart phone or one you can download from.  I get tired of all the dumb scammers calling leaving messages..
