busy signal when I call back

Getting a call everyday from last couple of days. I don't answer and they don't leave voice mail

Said that they were calling from my auto insurance company but did NOT identify the company.  Since they called my cell, knew that it was a scam (especially since they didn't identify what company they were with).  Went into some spiel saying that the call was about our insurance payment - and so I spent the rest of the time swearing into the phone until they hung up.  I don't give out my cell phone to ANY businesses, and lately have been getting lots of scam calls on it.  Have had it with the scam calls, after receiving thousands of them, nothing slows them down.  Have ignored all unidentified calls, have blocked repeat callers, have given out bogus credit card info, and have spoken in another language (the one tactic that seems to work the best).    If I am in the mood, now I vent into the phone.  Am so tired of being called by criminals and liars - an most of the  scams seem to target the incredibly stupid.

Thanks to the phone companies - for letting scammers have phone lines that are one way.  Early on when we started receiving lots of scam calls, I talked with the phone company, and they explained that "businesses" can set up one way phone lines - whereupon they can call out, but no one can call them.  Gee, whose side are the phone companies on???? (and what kind of legit business would have such phone lines?).   After having received thousands of scam calls over the years, am figuring that the phone companies could stop the scam  nonsense if they really cared about it - but it isn't in their best interest.  Lots of folks seem to be dropping their landlines due to the scam calls - which seems appropriate.

Just another typical lame-[***] excuse for a human being trying to scam people for a living. If I knew where they were I'd burn their thieving-ass house down with them in it!

Gave them all falsee info just to see what they were all about told them I was homeless and they said have a nice day and hung up. So homeless people don't deserve to have auto insurance?? Total scam lol absurd

I have been applying for a lot of jobs lately (but no where near Kent), so maybe a company got a hold of my number.

some rude gal called me during the middle of the work day started going into her spiel about auto insurance & asked if it was a good time I said well it's the middle of the work day then she rudely hung up

A woman said that she was part of a non-profit company helping people adjust to new insurance laws. When I asked her how she got my info, she listed off a bunch of different insurance companies that she represents. I pushed for more information and she hung up.

this number has called me almost daily, sometimes twice, for the past 2 months. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and they have never left a message. I am beyond irritated.

Just got a call from this number, I didn't answer, they left no message... but when i called the number back the recording says it is a NON WORKING NUMBER???

Called 3 cosecutive days around 10 am left  no vm.

Phone rings but someone on other line.  I called and get a busy signal.  Sounds like possible identify breach.
