This is either a scam or an unethical business trying to prey on low information consumers.  Hang up immediately.

253-216-2528 called AGAIN!  I didn't pick up.  Can't anyone stop them?

Rang once, no message.

Scammer - Do not waste your time answering this call , block them if you can.

Got essentially the same pitch as Kristof above; when I asked if she was trying to sell me a new insurance policy she kept on about how the 2016 law will save me money.  That's when I hung up and blocked it.  The 253 area code is nearby and this was on my work phone so I picked up; otherwise I wouldn't.

I received a call from this # saying there was a reduction in my 2016 insurance cost.The person ask if they could proceed. When I asked who they were, they hung up. This # does not accept incoming calls and should be reported to the State Attorney Generals office.

They called my cell and did not leave a message. I called them back and a recorded message said that "the call was not allowed from this line to dial 611 for customer service or to dial 1 800 331 0500 from a land line." I pressed 611 and it did nothing. The call hung up after that. I don't have a land line to use to try the 800 number. After googling the 800 number, says it is AT&T customer service. I don't know why AT&T would be trying to contact me with a number that does not work. I have not been in contact with them. So for them to call me out of the blue seems strange.

Said she would bathe in the blood of innocents until I signed up for her infernal insurance program.

This number calling my cell phone - my landline gets so many of these calls its unusable now - I normally don't get  these on my cell phone - grrrrr.

Beverly, no one at 800 notes can block numbers for you.  This is a simple web site where people such as you can provide information and help others determine the identity of unknown callers.  If you want a number blocked get a call blocker or talk to your service provider.

Have had two calls from this number in the past week. I did not pick up as I don't live in the Kent area. If they call again I am going to report them.

Tried to call them back and the call got cancelled.

I picked up because it was a legit area code. Mad because it was an insurance solicitor. Once I head her talk about auto policy, I hung up. Again, I generally don't pick up if I don't recognize the caller. I really need to stick to my guns and make people go to voice mail.
