Obviously some form of fraudulent call.  Claimed to be the IRS and also used the full name, Internal Revenue Service. The recorded call said it was the last warning before the IRS filed a lawsuit against me. No identification of the caller, the company or anything else about the purpose of the call or type of scam.  I'm having no issues with IRS and they don't work this way.  (If they do they're even worse than I thought.)

5-1-15. Received call from this number. Answering machine picked up. Did not leave message. Any number I don't know I let the answering machine take the call.

I just received the same call from this phone number stating that the IRS was filing a law suite against me.  I too have not problems with the IRS.  It made me very anxious until I looked up the phone number on this  site.

I've received the same call and I know this is a scam...

I just received the same bogus IRS call.  I never answer a number I don't know, so it was a message.

I was pretty sure the IRS would not just leave some odd message so I searched for the phone number and found others had posted the same thing.

answered the phone--they said that they were IRS said I was getting suided by them. Knowing this was a scam , I hung up.

Just received this on my answering machine. I called it frantically, to have an automated voice answering machine answer my call, sounded like an English, or someone trying to sound like that..Glad I looked it up..I am reporting this.. It is very scary and untelling how many people who have been scammed by these jerks...

At 7:44 am I get a call coming across my answering machine saying IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. First of all the I.R.S. don't operate with phone calls, secondly I don't have any issue with them. So whoever the lowlife piece of trash is that is behind this SCAM, you can KISS BOTH SIDES OF MY ASS. I will be reporting this number to the IRS and then putting it on the block list on my answering machine.

same as previous reports. said they were from the irs and we had a lien and they were going to report us to police!!!

I too received a call from this number stating to be the IRS didn't sound like English was his first language. He was more or less threatening me demanding Money. Over 2000 dollars. He told me it was from me working 2009-2010 and I have not worked since 1991 im on social security disability. Do not fall for this scam!!!

We just received a call, recorded on our answering machine, stating what everybody else has reported.  Final notice from the IRS and the IRS is filing suit against.  Call 253-216-8098 immediately for more information.  Scam city.  Don't call the number as there may be big phone charges involved.

I received that same message this morning.  They referred me to a second number which I forgot.

Received their call this morning. Claiming to be from the IRS and threating a suit against me..total scam as the IRS does not call you in anyway.

I just received a call saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me . This is a scam IRS does not operate this way , it was a recorded call tat sound like the voice on my Bluetooth . They did not mention my name just said that I should call the number back .

I heard same message on answering machine. When I returned the call -- I "played along" and found out that I was talking to  IRS Agent  Jonathon Miller (???  -- I asked him to spell it for me)  and asked why was the IRS suing me? Agent Miller told me it was about the documents that had been mailed to me. I replied sweetly that I had not received any documents in the mail and then Agent Miller said, "Now Come On BABY, BABY you know we sent then to you. Come on BABY!
I hung up and cleaned the phone with a disinfectant wipe.

I received the same thing. Only 448.00 and of not paid today they were notifying the court house! He kept saying do it hang up you hang up you will be warranted for your arrest. Then he said if you don't have the 448.00 how much do you have to pay today? I was crying he said to just calm down it was a foreign voice. I had a stroke and I can't handle stress! Will someone please stop these people? I kept asking what is this for I file my taxes every year and haven't had any trouble. And why do you just call shouldn't I have gotten something in writing first?  He just kept saying you want to pay now? Or you will go to court. Help!

Received a call from 253-216-8098 saying that the IRS was about to sue me. I said really. The person got angry and told me that I would be hearing from the FBI. WHAT A SCAM... Don't fall for it. These people should be put in jail.
