Son took call from what seemed to be a recording. My son having a little trouble understanding said it sounded like it was from a com named Artis. Well reading the other posts the accent being poor they meant IRS. I am glad I went here first before returning any call.  Thanks to all who responded here.

May 2015 got call from 253-216-8098 on answering machine stating this is IRS and we are having a lawsuit filed against us by the IRS call this number back immediately to avoid lawsuit. 1ST IRS does not make calls to people.  They notify you by letter.  2ND we had been warned by our financial adviser there is a scam being committed trying to scar people into giving out personal and private information to avoid a lawsuit.  3RD we have never had an issue with the IRS.  4TH when looking this number up on the internet, it says it is from the Kent WA area.  Wrong location for IRS.  This is a Fraudulent Scam.  Not IRS!! BEWARE!!!!

Just received a machine call from 253 - 216 8075 saying only blatantly that IRA was filing a lawsuit against me and asking to call 253 - 216 8075. Call appears to be from Washington State.    Am sure it is a fraud call.
