What difference does it make what kind of phone you have?!?!?!

I use Google Voice (with an OBi 110 VOIP device) as my home phone. It has a feature where you can block unwanted phone numbers. Needless to say, 253-236-2058 was added when I got a call from these idiots this morning!

You gave personal banking info over the phone?!?!? Why would you do that? I've had my bank call me before and I insisted on calling them back, NEVER will I give my info without initiating the call.  

If you didn't give your info...WHY would you need new cards?????

Recorded call claiming I could lower my credit card interest rate to as low as 6%

I'm so tired of reporting these people.  I keep blocking their numbers and yet it just keeps going on.  I don't answer the phone, I don't send them to voicemail and yet it just continues.

Received the call on my Cell did not answer.  I do not answere unrecognized #'s. no message left.

i just recieved a missed call from them, no message either

just got a call from these guys, with the same offer-- "wanted to lower my interest rate" Then they wanted to 'verify' my identity by conforming my credit card number. I refused to give them the number. Instead asking if this was a legitimate service, why don't you read my my card number, and I will verify if it is correct. They then said let me transfer you to a supervisor. After a few minutes someone who was a supervisor asked if I was having a problem. I said no, except I refused to 'verify' my identity by giving out my credit card number, there had to be some other way of doing that. and mysteriously the phone disconnected. I called the number back and was automatically transfered to a message that allowed me to take my phone number off their call list.

I agree - what's the point of the DNC list if calls like these get through? I will check with my carrier if I can block this number.

Got called, no message left. probably a scam.

Our attourney retrieved the phone logs and the number was frauded by  Delta Outsource Group, a Debt Collector from Missouri.

I got this call. Did not answer. I am on the do not call list.Why can't they be made to stop!

I am on the national do not call list, And do not answer calls from unknown numbers.... Also do not have any credit cards, or credit card debt. Remove my number.

Yep - recorded message stating I could lower my interest rate to 6%. When I got a live person on the phone, he had a VERY thick Indian accent and I asked him what this call was about. He said I had either a Visa, MasterCard or Citibank card with a current balance of $3,000... and I said NO. Then he hung up on me. SCAM.

Got a call from this number. Didn't answer.. no message.. from other posts on here, seems to be a scam. I don't answer unsolicted calls..
