Called my phone. No message.

Call came in EXACTLY as I was doing something else on my cellphone, and I hung up before the call registered (no ring, nothing). Called back before researching the number (foolish, yeah; long distance to Washington state). Automated system answered, saying something about "Opt Out Registry" and "required by FCC..." before I hung up.

The number from (253) 236-2058 is a scam. The number could be a spoof number. The lady from (i.e., India, Indonesia) wanted to give me a discount on my Visa card balance. They wanted my expiration date for security verification (which I gave), then they wanted my Visa card number which I told her you should already have this number since you are calling me. She then hung up making me think for sure this was a scam.

I too am on the DNC list.  What good does it do?  This # called 4x in a row yesterday.  Never answer an unfamiliar number.  I have read that sometimes just by answering, they have all the info they need.  If it's a friend or family member that has changed their number, they'll leave a message.  Always be cautious.

This call was on my cell phone and I am on the Do Not Call List.

While waiting for a call from the hospice service for our terminally-ill father, these monsters called my DNC-listed cell. Bad enough they break the law and abuse the phone service I PAY FOR, they tie up my phone when someone's LIFE is affected. I have been furious at this abuse of our DNC-listed numbers for a long time, this just turned me into their worst enemy. Do they every THINK about anyone else or anything other than the profit from their criminal enterprise?
I hope you monsters read this ... you have made a fearful enemy and I will not rest until you are SHUT DOWN AND JAILED.
Everyone, report these criminal calls and keep the pressure on our government to take some substantive action against these evil, blood-sucking degenerates.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.
