Phone call from this number today, no VM.

Thanks, PB. I've been harrassed by someone calling my cell from this number several times daily (I, too, and registered with DoNotCall Registry), and have reported their number. I've been calling the number you listed above; when I get the recorded message from VMS Alarms, I'm invited to press "4" to talk to someone in their sales dept. So I do. Repeatedly. Of course, no one ever answers, but it keeps my phone occupied while I'm writing, and it keeps them from calling me. Maybe they will enjoy the phone ringing for a change.

the number calls at least once a day, same deal offering a free alarm system. They are fishing for information, dont trust them

Got two phone calls today, several others in the previous week.

I called them back and got a recording asking me if i wanted them to take me off there list and i said yes and then they hung up. Have been called by them for the last week at lest twice a day and i live in Ohio. Message posted on 10-7-11.

I have been contact by this company for over two months. The first time I informed them that I do not have a yard for them to put a sign in. On four separate occasions I have asked to be put on their "No Call List." This week alone I have been called five times. I answered the last time and asked for the supervisor at which time "Tom" hung up on me.

I get calls multiple times a day from this number. I asked them to stop calling but they continue.

Today is 10 Oct. 2011.  This number called me twice today and 6 times over the past few days.  I'm on the DNC registry.  Same experience as all above.  

My tip: I added a contact to my smart phone called "telemarketer" and added this and other numbers to it.  I set my phone to send these calls directly to voice mail.  I then just delete any voicemails from "telemarketer" without listening to them.  My phone doesn't ring and I'm not disturbed throughout the day, nor does it cost me any airtime.  This is the best solution I could come up with.

I have received 4 calls from this number 253-246-8552 today!  10:30 am, 12:10 pm, 12:58 pm and 1:33 pm.  I also received one from them on Friday along with a few from 2 other numbers.  This is ridiculous!  I have even registsered my number several times on the Do Not Call List.

Follow-up: After another call from this number, I called Sprint.  They blocked the number, so hopefully I won't have to deal with this particular caller ever again.

They keep calling over and over and won't leave a message. Very annoying because I am also on the DO NOT CALL LIST

Received a call, but no message. I called the number back and it is a marketing company. You should be able to opt out of their promotions by pressing 1....allow 72 hours for it to take affect.

This is a machine that calls every day until you tell them you don't own your home.  It says this is Tom from a security company.  Then it tries to have you give your name and number for a representative to call you back.  It has been happening for about a year with different numbers, each time I report a number they change it to another one.  I have put my number on the National Do Not Call list, but they still call.

Have fun with this type of call. String the caller along for as long as you can. Explain how insecure you are and how you are afraid to be home alone. That you are afraid of your neighbors, etc. Then tell the caller about your health problems (made up) and how a security system would be great.

Then after a while of this talk, ask the caller to tell you again why you were called. Then, tell the caller that you were confused about the call and that you are not interested and to not call again. If the call comes again, do the same thing.

I have had a lot of fun doing this. Just did one to a credit-card interest reducing company ...
