Person called and threatened to kill me I'm not sure who it is but when I call back the line is busy

called my cell phone and asked for me by name. I asked who is calling. he started speaking in another language, like Indian or Arabic, with another person and I hung up the phone immediately. he did not even know how to respond when I asked him who is calling. Glad I came here. When I have gotten these windows scam calls before I simply tell them I do not have a computer. In the past that has elicited frustration from the caller and sometimes cuss words and they always hang up.

I answered call & man sounded like from India asked for me by name, says calling about my computer. I said I do not need any help. He said Mother Fu---- & hung up

Could not understand the person or who she was asking for but it wasn't anyone within my household told her she had the wrong number she repeated what I said and hung up.

This number jeeps calling I do not snswer, if I call it there is a busy tone.

Received a call from 253-385-8786 caller with a foreign accent asked for me by name I asked who was calling he said he was calling about my computer, he was a technician I replied what computer and he hung up.

he said to same to me. When I said I have no computer the person hang off the phone.

got call from same number.  total scam. he wanted to fix error messages and said that I was going to get a virus from another country if I didn't let him diagnose my computer.  he kept asking if I was on my windows computer?   I said I needed to call him back.  He said his name was Steve Williams with Windows. Said to say Job number MSW1717..  Call back number is 855-551-1113  and that I have to ask for only him because he is familiar with my computer. Mr. Williams sounds like he is calling from India and has a very thick accent.  He doesn't  know the IP address so how can he know my computer.   People, computers have a window environment.  No such thing as a Windows computer. Please stay safe.
P.S,  I did not try the call back number.

This phone number shows up as a McDonald's somewhere in Washington state...didn't bother to call back...probably a scammer.

got call from 253.385.8786 while i was napping... person with an asian-like accent indicated that he was calling in response to my computer error messages being sent to MicroSoft re: my windows system... ended up doing a remote access review on my computer - did what appeared to be a scan and started showing me where errors appeared on my computer and that anonymous hacker attempted to access my banking, email and/or facebook accounts; and that it was already established... furthermore, stated that he could fix my computer like new by eliminating several threats off my computer... expressed that it would cost $310/1 yr, $500/2 yrs or $600/ 3 yrs... asked for my name, billing address, email and address... my wife got suspicious - -took her advice; so, i started probing- -the person started transferring to another person acting as a financial service rep- - this person started showing me via remote access on my computer what software (www.kenoxisav.com) that i would be purchasing for them to use on my computer (listed on the website out of Dallas, Tx but with out-of-country phone numbers) and a website for payment (ex., secure.traderpay something or another) which ask you for your name, billing address, ph. #, credit card or checking acct info)... i told them that i would have to think about it and call them back tomorrow---person started being pushy about making a purchase right away due to the urgent nature of my computer being hacked... eventually he gave me the number 1-855-551-1113 with the name of Jeff Young and technicians name/Michael and Shaun.

Stated he was from Windows support.  When I asked him to please take me off his call list he started telling me I was a [***] and all kinds of other lewd comments.  Makes me sick!

Thanjks for posting about this phone number on my cell phone - I have been getting calls from scammer who tried to take over my computer posing as Verizon FIOS customer service, but is trying to scam me in VERY SOPHISTICATED WAY - DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.  I'll ignore and block

this guy had a foreign accent, said this is hell calling  we are coming to take you to hell. can't someone put a stop to him. especially with all the stuff that is going on in this world.

Their filthy mouth is a sure sign of frustration. When these scams first started,  they had Great success because good honest people were more trusting and most had never heard of telephone scamming.  Now,  almost everyone has been informed and new tricks are hard to sell.  The success is slipping away and they blow up at rejection.  Good!  Nothing is more vile than to take from the elderly and the needy as well as all trusting people.  More rejection from vigilant people and they may have to find jobs.

No,  he's out of reach of our law enforcement.  I'm sure that some day he really will be calling from hell.

No, direct dialing from Hell is difficult. Unless you know the 'hotline'.

Okay so I have gotten calls from this number several times. The first time I had called ATT service.  This number just happened to call me the same day.  My computer was so messed up it could not even connect to the internet. They stated that they would fix it for me.  They did.  They fixed it so I could get on the internet. Restored a lot of broken drives and it was working well.  It ended up costing about 300 dollars.  They then called me again but I was suspicious so I googled the number.  At the time I had disconnected my cable and internet service because I needed to save money so they had no access to my computer.  So I did not think about it.  The third time they called me again I was now on to there game so I refused to play with them.  Luckily all I lost was 300 but in return they restored my computer to working order.  Good thing I did a complete wipe of the computer after that......
