"My name is Kevin Mason. I'm calling regarding an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury..." and that's when I hung up on this scam.

Here's what the real IRS says:

• Call you to demand immediate payment. The IRS will not call you if you owe taxes without first sending you a bill in the mail.
• Demand that you pay taxes and not allow you to question or appeal the amount you owe.
• Require that you pay your taxes a certain way. For instance, require that you pay with a prepaid debit card.
• Ask for your credit or debit card numbers over the phone.
• Threaten to bring in police or other agencies to arrest you for not paying.

bogus IRS call

Said his name was Agent something from the IRS and police were waiting at my door step to arrest me unless I paid over 6,000 now and I was not allowed to tell anyone about this

Got this on my mother's answering machine-- 'Kevin Mason' with an Indian accent and the IRS scam reported by the others. Nice try, turkey.

Kevin Mason called regarding an enforcement action by the US Treasury.  What a scammer, they should put this guy in jail!!!

Some Indian scam artist trying to not sound Indian leaving a message saying he's from the IRS, just a scam.

How can we get this jerks not to call any more. Its annoying.
