Get calls from this number repeatedly. Will not answer and no message is ever left. Thank goodness for comments from this website's posters.

Scam. They give instructions on how to get rid of the virus you have. I mess with them just to burn up there time.  Act like I'm following his instructions. When he asked me what my screen said, I said "It says *&^% you" and he hung up.. ;)

I was hoping to describe my HP Pavilion 5030, of course they would have to wait for its Win95 to boot. My HP PhotoSmart System hooked onto it also might need help.

 With a fast, fast, Pentium 75 and 8MB of Ram (&850MB Hard Drive!) to keep clear of viruses their work would be cut out for them.
After finding the W95 error files in a blundering slow way, I would probably ask how they will mail me their cure.  What do you mean, go online and download the upload? You mean try it out in the internet? I don't think I've ever tried that!

They tell me they discovered a big problem problem with my computer through the phone lines..  Funny that I have not had dial-up in about 10 years, but they DO hang up after I inform them that they should find a new scam.

Guy called me from this number said he was from Al Qaeda and was going to kill me and he was watch me through my window and to walk outside. I told him to if he was that bad come in and we will die together because I have something for him. Started talking a bout bin laden, I remined him that he was dead and so is jihada John and if he came in my house he would join both of them in hell. I hung up on him and blocked the number from my cell.

Yeah they called me again today and said "your computers for windows is messing up".
I told him it wasn't possible, and the man tried to say he could see online that I was having trouble.
I promptly told the man we don't have any computers and he slammed the phone down. lol

Had a call from these scammers today.  Indian accent, but said his name was James.  I said Jihadi James?  He said no, and he went on to give me some number of my computer.  I said why are you giving me a false number when I am a senior citizen and don't own a computer.  He hung up.  I love to play games with these people.

Told them I had an ALR 80286 with VLBus adapter running Windows 1.1.  He asked, what is VLBus?  Blocked.

LOL! He didn't question "Windows 1.1"? Maybe that version is from way before his time!

told him I had no computer so therefore nothing wrong with my computer and its windows ...... have had similar calls in the past and the men are extremely rude towards women with their explicit words and descriptions of what they will do to me physically even with my husband listening in

we relative have  from other country but never heard from them lately, I wondered before I answer it, have to look for this number first.

just had a lovely chat with one of these scummers sorry scammers pretending to be calling from windows (do they not get that windows is an OS not a company..  kept him going acting confused about his instructions  for about 10 minutes.. I am working from home and bored today :-). so after being asked to co to event viewer and being given the instructions for windows 7, 8 and 10 style os's I advised I still couldnt find the event viewer. I couldnt even find start button would it be anywhere near the apple logo, he hung up hehe, at least while I was winding him up for 10 minutes he wasnt calling someone else who may fall for it.

computer scam call.

Got the call today - story about something wrong with my operating system - instantly recognisable as attempted phishing. Immediately told him to put the phone down before I called the police and that he'd picked the wrong man (with many years of IT experience). He couldn't end the call quickly enough. Immediately barred all future calls from this number.

Some Israeli outfit pretending to be MS.  I let them into a VM so I could capture their IP address.  It's from Israel.  Blocked.

Israel? I'd be really curious to analyze any packet capture you used to grab their IP. Any chance you could post some of the data with your personally identifiable information redacted on Pastebin?
