First call from this number.  Called at 5:30 on a Friday night.  Didn't leave a message.  Caller ID says WELLCARE.  We  have Medicare Part D drug insurance with them but do all our business with them on-line.  Other web sites indicate this is a robocaller.  My guess is they want to "help" so that they can claim to be the agent of record and collect commissions.  The fact that this is a Philadelphia area code and we live in California is a clue they are pond scum.  They called previously in May, 2019 from 877-200-0722 which was also named as a robocaller.  We stopped answering our phone - - legitimate callers will leave a message.

I got this call as well just now. And given the fact I live in Wisconsin and not Philadelphia makes me wonder if this is a fake trying to get some information they shouldn't have. I went to the WellCare site and found no number that matched this one and the one they gave me to call back at (1-833-298-4300). Better to be safe than sorry, right?

Also got this WellCare (or fraud) call. They wanted personal info. Hung up on the robot. If it's authentic and important, someone will mail something or call in person and leave a message.

Suspicious but confusing call. Says was courtesy call with an important message but was automated voice and WellCare never, ever calls they just send mail. Likely spam pretending to be WellCare. Receive strange calls from this number every 3 months with no information outside of the given number.

Got a call from this number yesterday. My  caller ID said ROBOCALLER. They didn’t leave a message of course.
I see the other reviews where people say they are pretending to be Wellcare. It's creepy because I have Medicare D under the WellCare umbrella.

Robo call claiming to be from Wellcare. Requested my date of birth so they could validate my info.  No no. That is the hallmark of a scam.  I gave them a fake birth date. They couldn't validate it and told me to call them.

Got a call they said was WellCare.  also showed Well Care on caller ID. Asked for me by name so without thinking I gave my birthdate.  Then my brain kicked in and I asked for a callback number.  That didn't match WellCare number I have from my medicare part D.  So I ended the call, not soon enough.

Received call from this number with caller ID as Wellcare, wanting me to verbally confirm my first name by saying 'yes'...thankfully they didn't hear me clearly and wanted me to repeat, at which time my brain kicked in, and just hung up.  Troublesome as I DO use Wellcare

The first two times they called, I was connected directly to an "agent" who stated he was calling on behalf of Wellcare. He started asking me personal "verification" questions and I immediately asked for a return phone number and a case number so I could call Wellcare and verify his claim. No claim number but gave me a return number. Wellcare had no idea what I was talking about and when I called him back, the number he gave me was bogus. Now, when I get calls from them, it's a recorded message immediately asking "verification" questions.... Click!

    Bogus bogus bogus!

Shill alert! Come on, there's no logical reason for you to look up a known phone number so you must be here to shill, right?

I don't remember that I answered the phone, but as I look back through my log, No Messages were left and I don't recall talking to a person in regards to Wellcare that I just switched back to after being away from them for a while since I found better plans than theirs that would cover most or all of my meds.  Wellcare is not covering most meds and thinking of just planning to pay a monthly fee so I don't need to keep receiving denial letters from them in regards to meds that are prescribed to me.
    • Caller: Unknown but in review, might be Wellcare.

Let me get this straight.  Wellcare wouldn't cover your meds so you switched plans and found some that would?  Am I correct so far?  So now you switched back to them and they aren't covering your meds and you are paying them a monthly fee?  Seriously, why in the world would you do that?
