- M| 2 repliesI got a call from them and something in the mail stating that I owe something from 1991. I said to prove it. Then they wanted my email address. Told them that if they could get my phone number they could get my address and that I would not verify any info or give them any. Scary thing is they knew the last four #'s of my SS #.

- Annoyed with the Calls! This is Dynamic Recovery Solutions. They are an OLD JUNK Debt Collector. Mostly they try to collect debt that is OUT OF THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS (SOL) for them to collect on. (CHECK FOR YOUR STATES SOL - most are not more than 5-7yrs, some as low as 2-3yrs) They tried to collect on a lemon law car I had voluntarily repo'd in 1995. (mind you 15yr out of the SOL for PA). This vehicle was re-sold and I have been free and clear of it for many many years. These items will already be off you credit report, in most cases. Threats were made to my credit- which they cannot do w/ SOL Debt..So do not listen to them and if you see it show up on your Credit History as new- Get an Attorney. This company is known to do things in a very illegal manner. Also, if they call you- request the info in writing. They often ignore the Fair Debt Trade ACT. They MUST send you in writing the information they are calling about...Many times they know nothing about the debt, other than the amount and your name and SSN#. I contacted an Attorney- who advised me to not talk to them at all. I also did my own research on the Fair Debt Collection Act and Reporting of same with the FTC. www.FTC.gov . If one acknowledges the debt- no matter what it is- they can then drag you to court and win, no matter how old the debt. DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT PLAN WITH THESE PEOPLE- YOU ARE THEN ENTERING CONTRACT WITH THEM AND ARE LIABLE FOR WHATEVER DEBT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT- WHETHER OR NOT IT IS YOUR DEBT..AGAIN CONTACT AN ATTORNEY IF THEY KEEP CALLING YOU.. I contacted Attorney Michael Arguss (he had an ad on a webpage I was on researching this company last year and I called- he has dealt with them in the past. ) Again, even if you think this was a legitimate debt- do not give this company any leeway- get it all in writing and more than likely it is already a SOL Debt. Attorney Argus Website: http://www.agrusslawfirm.com/ ... Phone#888.572.0176... He will educate you on what they are allowed and not allowed to do.

Collecting on what debt? News to me I owe anyone except my credit card and car loan. Listen to Annoyed with the Calls. I used to help unemployed people with these types of problems and these people scare the hell out of people. Refer to the Fair Debt and Collection Act - very important.- Caller: Dynamic Solutions

- unsatisfied replies to M| 1 replyI received a phone call from this company Dynamic Recovery Solutions. The scary thing is they do know the last 4 digits of your social security number. It is sad in this day and time there is no privacy and companies like this continue to harass people. So the company claims I owe Verizon whom I have never had an account with. I called the company back and told them to Google their company. Funny she couldn't give me any information about the account. I told Ashley to go get a real job.

This is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, etc. all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
