Uh, maybe because they don't have a branch in every city and until you set up Internet email, which may or may not be from them, they have no way of knowing what your email is.

It is an automated survey call from Comcast asking about your experience with technician that recently went to your residence.

Got the same no message call two days in a row.10/18 and 10/19.
Also had a recent installer from Comcast.

Idiot COMCAST survey woke me up out of bed! AUTOMTATED SURVEY, so no message will be left on your answering machine. I called number back, with another automated number saying it was them calling me.

I just got a call from this number and I did have Comcast come out today. I don't know where to begin with how unhappy I am with Comcast. If I had another cable and high speed internet company in my city other than Comcast, I would gladly leave Comcast. I did try to get satellite but I have very tall trees blocking the way. So unless I want to go tv and internet-less I am stuck with Com-ass service.... For all of the hassle they cause me, they are so not worthy of praise. I have spent countless hours on the phone with their customer service reps trouble shooting cable and internet issues. They overcharge for ALL of their services. Their bundles are too high priced. Oh and when they went "digital" those stupid little boxes became a pain in my you know what! I cant wait for the day I can just tell them to kiss my...... For now, I just have to endure the pain and suffering of being a Comcast customer.

Unknown caller. My number is registered on the Do Not Call list, but I continue to get these idiotic calls.

You get these type of calls because not all types of nuisance calls are covered by the DNC regulation.  It only covers telemarketers soliciting the sale of goods or services either directly or indirectly and then only if you are not a current customer or did business with the caller in the previous 18 months.  Since this caller appears to be doing customer service satisfaction surveys for Comcast customers they are not required to avoid numbers on the DNC list and most likely do not even have the list to check against.

I rec'd a call from this #, and it did show Hatboro, PA, no other name for company.  Ans. mach. picked up, and I could hear a female robocall start talking, but she was talking before the machine got it, so did not hear a company.  Said it was a brief survey.  Assume now it was Comcast, since a service tech had left about hr. before. Oh, well.  If they want a survey, they need to do better about the caller ID, call message, or callback infomation left.

Received a call and no message from this number in PA.  However, after reading all the posts now, I realize this is probably Comcast calling to do  a customer service survey on the technician who did an Intenet install yesterday.   Strange they don't use an 800 or 877 number.  I am in CO so a number from PA didn't ring a bell.

ya they do that all the time i worked for them for a long time they always tell u it on just hook it up and it turned off now u have to call for an install.

It must be that Comast hates their customers,  It takes forever to talk to a real person. Then after being jacked around over the phone, I got a serviceman to come out.  Told me the whole house needed to have new cable wires because the signal was leaking out.  WRONG !  He finally went down the street and found a damaged cable.  
When I called I did not want a survey call,  Called 2x did not leave message. Nice to know who It was.

It's comcast.  Likely a Philly, PA (or suburb) number because that's their headquarters location.  Strange it's not local to my service area or done via email (which they are constantly requesting when I call).  Oh well.  I suppose being good at running wires isn't the same as being good at using them effectively.

Yes. It's Comcast. Had install done yesterday. Number has called my phone about 4-5 times now. I added to reject list but it's annoying. Same as other post, number is from PA and I'm in FL. The only reason I got Xfinity was because Uverse is not available in my area. Comcast is so full of fail.

Had service done by Comcast today.  Left no message on answering machine.  Called back - it was Comcast.  Probably wanting feedback on service provided by technician (as stated below).
