they called my phone multiple times and finally I said I was calling the police she said go ahead you [***] you [***] and hung up

Called 6 times in 2 days finally someone said that they were from the us government and I was getting grant money I didn't have to pay back all I had to do is give them my bank or credit car number told them I didn't have either and they as!ed me to get a prepain visa or MasterCard and they would give me the money thats when they asked for my s.s number. I told them I don't give that info over the phone and just mail me the check then hung up

Report the number to the FCC then block it. You can also call your home phone and cell phone carriers to block the number as well. if it continues they will change your numbers free of charge. The use Magic Jack and other services that allow them to change numbers often. HANG UP IMMEDIATELY AND DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION.  Hope this helps.

Listen up people...get a call blocker on your phone.  I know these calls are annoying.  With social media and other alternative forms of communication, why would you answer a call from an unknown number anyway?  I rarely speak on the phone and use social media, texting for communicating with "known" contacts.  If they aren't in my contact list, the call does not get answered.  If it is important, they will leave a voicemail.  And, there is that magic delete button when these scammer idiots do leave a voicemail.

These jerks are total A-Hoes, They have harassing behavior. because, they keep changing their phone numbers including area codes. therefore, very hard to call the Police, with out the Law Enforcement people not knowing where those jerks are located. their AC could be Alaska. then FL, then ME, then CA, then HI. then NYC, do I need to go on? yes. Even SD and ND. and Obviously Hawkeye, IA

Police really can't do anything the calls originate in either India or Pakistan and these people are hard core scammer/extortionists outside the reach of US law.  Local governments do nothing to stop them.  Call blocker is your best bet.

Caller not saying anything, called 4 times in 5 minutes

This number has called me at least 10 times in the past few hours. I answered and nobody says anything. I called it back and got an answering machine saying that the voice mail is full! I don't know what the purpose would be except that this person has no life, and wants to upset people. I intend on blocking the number!

Clearly this person has no life to have taken up harassment as a hobby. The insessent calling is rediculas! They never say anything when I pick up and their voicemail stays full! I don't know how they go my number but I want the callin to stop!

After 9 hang up calls in 5 hours. A foreign accented woman stated she was from the Government Grants department and asked for me by name. When pushed for further information she hung up. When the number is called it goes directly to a full voicemail inbox.

12 times in 24 hours and still calling

They have called me at least 4 times today within the last 3 hours. Does anyone know what they are from?

BTW, I called the number back and it goes to a voicemail box. I guess I will answer the next phone call and see what kind of crap they're digging up.  Sorry but yet glad to know I'm not the only one being harassed. :s GRRRR!

I got a call asking for Michael. I told him he had the wrong number, and he apologized and hung up. I blocked the number after the call. 3hrs later, I have a missed call from the same number. I'm glad I put it on my reject list.  

Three calls in 10 minutes.  The first tried telling me they were from Microsoft.  The next two were just noises, no words.
