I HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND I DONT KNOW WHO IT IS! PLEASE HELP! THEY WANT STOP CALLING AND THEY WANT ANSWER ME WHEN I ANSWER MY PHONE THEY JUST HANG UP ON ME!

I keep receiving calls from (269) 768 - 2512.  When I answe, no one says anything and then it hangs up.  I called the number back only to hear several rings followed by a machine.  The machine only states "your party in unable to answer, please leave message" or something to that effect.  Any ideas on how to stop these calls???

For the last two days I have been getting calls from this number.  Yesterday at 1:40 pm and then today at 2:03 pm.  I tried calling back as well to see who it was, and I got a generic voicemail, not stating a name or company.  I would really like to stop receiving these calls if the person is playing jokes or just bored.  How can I get them to stop calling?

So I tried those websites where you enter the persons phone number and it gives you their location.  Whoever is calling is using a landline phone in Bellevue Michigan and their phone provider is Lucre.  I don't personally know anyone from that area, and I have never heard of that phone company.  Just thought I would share this little bit of information that I found out, maybe somebody knows this person...?

they just called...they knew last name and last 4 digits of credit card. they offered a gift $50 gas card and some other shopping card (30 day trial) to send to me for free. i said i didn't want it. she was difficult to understand and persistent.

I, too, have been getting these calls lately. Not just during the week, but on the weekends and even at almost 11:00 in the evening. I would also like to know who it is. All I have gotten during my research is it's from the Bellevue, Mi. area. I typed in the number through the Michigan phone book and that is where it had taken me. Still no name, but I am still researching it. Maybe we all should leave a message and tell them that we will press charges if they keep pranking our phones, cause we know what are in Michigan they are located. Maybe they will stop then.

Last night I received a call from this # saying that for being a good visa customer they were going to send me a $50 gift card for my family to enjoy.  They gave the last 4 numbers of my debit card.  I said what Visa card though I knew which one it was and they said your debit card with the visa logo.  I asked her how she knew that? and she wouldn't answer.  She just repeated about being a good visa customer and blah blah blah.  I kept pressing her for information.  I find that talking to these people who have some sort of Indian or Sri Lankan accent to be very frustrating.  Finally I told her that I no longer had that card as someone used it to charge a fraudulant charge and she hung up on me.  The $29.95 charge was using the almost name of Lifstylefit.com.  But when you type that it takes you to Life style fit.  When I called the number they said that they have been receiving alot of complaints for charges that aren't theirs.  My bank cancelled my debit card.  I wish I could find out how they got my #.  I have in the past received calls from Michigan but like you they hadn't responded.  But last night the call came at 11.30 p.m. as we are in NY State.  So this mornign I came on to see if I could find out who the # belonged to and low and behold you all had the same problem.

Did any of you order Aacai or Bromolite off of the web? I believe this is where they got my number. These companies charged unauthorized charges on my account also !!

I got a call from this number and my husband answered.  They asked for me and he handed me the phone. They had hung up.  Yes I ordered both of those products and I was charged for so many things other than the products, they also charge you a membership in some support group.  It took me several days to find out all the things I was being charged for and to get them cancelled.  A costly lesson in making sure you read the fine print and don't for a minute believe anything is truly free!

I got a call from this number on my cel-I read through the previous notes and see the common thread for me-Bromalite! These scum bags have harassed me and don't make the mistake of signing up with them even though they say that they were see on the oprah show-they trick you into giving you signing up for a fitness company,, the trouble goes on and on!

I got a call a few days ago. I had a thought this call is associated with ACAI Berry purchases too. I purchased bormalite and Acaiberry abouyt two months ago. They have such a confusing marketing team. I got charged without getting the sample, I had a stop order after spending about $200 half of them unwillingly.... I have so much more to complain about them. Long story short, after I ordered those products I started getting lots of marketing mails in my inbox, so I marked them as spam. Then I started getting those marketing calls.

Two days ago I got a call from 269-768-2512. They stated that since I am valued customer they would like to give me a $50 gift... I asked them what did I purchase from you. She could not tell. Then I just hanged up.

As far as Bormalite, it is a great product but try to buy it through a more reliable resource.

Just be careful.

I also ordered Bromalite and Asai Berry and was charged for those products and some unknown ones as well.  I received another call from 201-257-4420.  Ends up to be a "fishing" call on a credit card.  The card I used for the products.  I feel this is related to the Bromalite and Asai Berry companies.  Very shady companies that apparently are identity thefts.

I figured it had something to do with Bromalite or Aciea or whatever the hell it is... I got taken for that stuff too and now am receiving those calls. Although every time I answer, it rings as if transferring me, then silence. Then I just hang up. I'm gonna wait for the next call & see what information I can get from them.

Keep your eyes on your accounts people! I’ve been fighting all those already stated charges and have canceled TWO credit cards, due to these scammers.

I am the business that everyone keeps calling thinking that I have charged their credit card.  The company that is actually doing this is called LIFSTYLE FITNESS, my company name is LIFESTYLE FITNESS (notice the "e" missing in their name).  I don't know how everyone is getting my contact info, it would be nice if someone who called us would let us know so we can do something to stop the calls, it's at 300+ now!  I am in Canada and have contacted my local authorities, the better business bureau and the US government agency for internet fraud...I suggest everyone involved do the same so we can shut this scam down!

WE ARE RECEIVING THE SAME PHONE CALLS. OUR BANK HAS JUST INDICATED TO ME THAT ALL ACCOUNTS THEY HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH SEEM TO START WITH THE BROMALITE CHARGES, AS DO THE REPORTED PHONE CALLS. WE'VE JUST CANCELLED THE CARD ASSOCIATED WITH THE CHARGES. IF,MORE LIKE WHEN THIS BOGUS COMPANY CALLS BACK I PLAN TO INFORM THEM THAT I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE FTC. YOU CAN GOOGLE SEARCH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION, ONCE ON THEIR SITE EITHER LOCATE THE PHONE NUMBER OR THE COMPLAINT FORM, TAKES ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO COMPLETE EITHER ONE. THE FTC IS VERY NICE TO WORK WITH AND THEY WILL LOCATE AND STOP THE COMPANY THAT IS BEHIND ALL OF THIS. THE COMPANY BEHIND THIS SCAM CAN BE FINED BY THE FTC IF THEIR INVESTIGATION FINDS THEM TO BE IN THE WRONG. THERE ARE OTHER POSTINGS ON THE FTC SITE ABOUT COMPANIES WHO HAVE ALREADY BEEN FINED FOR VARIOUS REASONS. IT MAY BE WORK LOOKING INTO IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING SHOWING UP ON YOUR CREDIT THAT YOU'VE PREVIOUSLY DISPUTED. I THINK YOU'LL BE SHOCKED AT THE COMPANIES THAT HAVE BEEN FINED.
