I have over 400 reject numbers in my call blocker, and report all of them. The two I mention here from Texas are among them.

They just called and are BLOCKED (I did not answer) in record time.  They need to put the bite publicly on these parasites, a few actual convictions and BIG fines would do the trick.  Everyone I know gets these calls, so there are billions of them yearly, wasting time, no one in D.C. even talks about it anymore.   (sigh!  cries in the wilderness)                                                                  Thanks 800notes.com

They keep calling.   It's a robocall, about mortgages.

Did not answer, blocked 'em.  Hope they all get cancer form long exposure to robodialers.

Calls several times a day. Honestly, around 4 to 5 times a day. Thank God for the ability to block folks. And, thank you for those that had more insight to this robot-worthless-silent call. Lol

calls my cell - heard voices - sounded hispanic males - we live in area of many hispanics - mainly mexican - sounds similar.  this is from texas and we know no one there.  will not answer again.

these are absolute crooks - two calls today with mortgage scams.  Shameful!

Got call today.

Called my office phone. said her name was Amanda, caller ID says Alpha Mortgage. it's an automated voice that they've done a decent job of making it sound normal since they add feedback of what sounds like other people calling but it's a recording. I simply just said, "add us to your do not call list" and she repeated what I said and hung up.

Caller ID says Alpha Mortgage. Checked the number, not the company's right number. Calls 3 times a day the last few days I usually don't pick up the phone, but finally did,  and I asked not to call again but still continue calling.

This number, (281) 601-9289, is a Houston, Texas phone number.  I live in Houston and I keep  getting calls from this number too.  When I answer they stay on the line a few seconds but don't say anything, then they hang up.  Right away I call the number back and I get a voice response that says it's not a working phone number.

I have been getting calls like that from different phone numbers from different states.  I don't understand why this is happening, it doesn't make sense.  Why would they just call then hang up?  And how are they calling from these phone numbers that are not even active numbers?  Where are they getting these numbers from?

Does anyone have any clue?
