Called my home phone at 3:44 PM on 8-27-2014. Caller ID displayed "out of area" and the phone number. I picked up the phone and only listened, I did not say hello or anything. Just wanted to hear what would come from the callers end. I heard nothing followed by being disconnected. I am a registered do not caller, so why do these bung holes continue to call?

Caller id is likely spoofed (phony) and from A1 Solar, a regular robo caller.

Do not do business with these lowlife, do not press to be removed or become ineligible -- it just confirms your number and may let them keep the number or sell to another scumbag.

FTC rules prohibit robo calls as well as spoofed number even if you are not on the DNC.  Report them at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

We got a call from "Sandy Spring MD, 301-658-2438", and didn't answer it since it was probably yet another illegal spoofed call (most likely from A1 Solar Power, Inc., since we've gotten many similar calls from them).  Google "A1 Solar Power, Inc. complaints" for more info...

I received two calls from this number within 3.5 hours on my home phone and two calls within the same time frame on my fax number and one call on my cell phone.  I am on the Do Not Call list and wish someone would do something to stop these calls from coming in.  Notes regarding this number say it is from a Solar Company and I have received numerous calls from solar companies and probably this number, in which I have asked to be removed from their list and tell them I am on the Do Not Call List.  Apparently, on another site it shows that this number is calling the elderly and claiming to be their grandson Michael that is in trouble.  This is all a bunch of b.s. and someone must be paying the bill for this number - why doesn't this number get shut down.  Quite clearly it is a scammer calling and a thieve FRAUD calling.  Cut these folks off, fine them and shut these numbers down.  Look at the money it would save.

Phone co was kind enough to tell me it's a debt collector just not what one or the name.

Just rec'd a call from this number 2x's.  They left no message...going straight to the reject list.

Yes, constantly I receive the calls and know who it is too. Look up Angela Aires—or try Mendes as last name from Brockton, MA.....family of scammers & frauds. Give as good as she gives.
