It appears that this number has started a new round of robocalls or no one has complained for a couple of months! My caller ID shows Anonymous but there is no message and I will block this number.

calls many times a day I never answer what ever happened to the Do Not Call list????

write down the time, date, name and number and file a complaint with the FCC using their online form.  If more than one call they can take that data also.  to blog here gets nothing done.

Shows on my caller ID as ANONYMOUS.

This number has been calling my house for a few years, now its calling my work number.  How can this harassment be stopped???

I followed Matthew's suggestion - called the number identified as College Republican National Committee, listened to their brief message, then when invited pressed 3 to request to go on their "do not call"  list, then had to enter my phone number and press 1when prompted when invited to confirm my number was entered correctly. Hope this works. Their calls are a bother.

My Panasonic phone has an option to block calls, no need to buy a service or an additional  device.

Keep getting a call from 301-750-2240 - Alex Smith.. Never leaves a message

My phone system will block only 30 calls so I had to purchase a separate unit that was supposed to block 1200 numbers. It was great until it started saying it was 'full' and would accept no more blocks. (It has nowhere near 1200 numbers on it.)

This "Alex smith" calls daily, no message, switches numbers.

I, too keep getting calls from Alex Smith, with no message.  Now, when I get a repeat of someone I don't know and leaves no message, I just answer and immediately hang up.  I seems to work on the other annoying calls, and I'll see if this works with Mr. Alex Smith, AKA, lazy son of a gun who won't get a real job.

Quit calling us Alex Smith!!!!!!!!! It's been a daily occurrence. If we don't know the number we will not answer. Never a message left - sh@theads :-(

I Have received many calls from 301 750 2240 Alex Smith.  This is harassment.  I want it stopped!!!

the phone number is from alex smith. He's a republican pushing the republican agenda on college campuses. As if we don't have enough crap coming thru our phones.

As usual, they left no message.  I wish they'd get a clue that I don't want to talk to them.  Or they could actually leave a message.  I'm never going to answer.

Just called me at 11:56 pm and rang once and hang up. ID said Anonymous.

I've received several calls from 301-750-2240 - I did not answer, and no message was left. Caller I.D.showed the # and Anonymous.

I blocked this number a couple of months ago and it stopped for awhile. Started up about a week ago with at least 1 call a day. Call blocker still works. Rings once and then it is gone.

CID said Alex Smith, but it was a call from the College Republicans. I told him in no uncertain terms that he'd called the WRONG place. They need to do their homework. I've given money to Bernie Sanders (yeah, I know, probably wasted).
