Called me today, I just picked up the receiver and slammed it back down.

I used to have one of those TeleZappers on my phone a few years ago and it worked pretty well for getting the robodialers to stop dialing me. I wonder if I should hook it up again.

Won't work - I have called them back, I have hung up on them, I have played along with them, I have told them I have reported them to Dept of Justice, I have politely asked them to stop - nothing works.  They call every day.

Received a call from this number AGAIN today, offering a lower interest rate.  Caller ID says it is from "Call Center, Md." Pressed "1" to get a representative, only to be disconnected when I told them never to call me again, as I am on the "do not call" list.  I also filed a complaint online with the FCC against this company/phone #. If you try to call this number back, it repeats your phone number and then asks if you want it changed!

Just got a phone call from them.Im on do not call registry also.Thanks for the information everyone.Yes it probaly is spoofing.Where I live they have been doing this for a while..They were using a service such as grand central.Started giving out peoples private line numbers to the service.In essence to set shop in a totally innocent persons name number.

We are getting calls from this number also. Usually 1 or 2 times a day. We do not answer it. This is getting ridiculous!!! There has to be a way for this to stop, it is getting very annoying!!!

BEWARE.  These folks are scam artists, and ignore both state & local do not call lists.

They state they are part of Visa, MC, American Express & Discover. Imagine that!  I had no idea those competitors got on so well.

I have been harrassed for the past 2-3 weeks by these IDIOTS and called a few pretty names and hung up on multiple times.  The FINAL straw was when I started as soon as the man got on the line with "You are breaking the law and I am turning you in for harrassment because I am on the DO NOT CALL list."  His response..."You B***H...you don't even know who I am.  How can you turn me in?"  I simply stated, "Internet, dummy!  I'll find you!" and he wished me luck and hung up loudly in my ear.  I am FED UP!  I have turned them in to the annoyance call center, the FCC and hunting them down!  I have NO CREDIT CARDS...nor does my husband, so they have no reason to call me!!!

Tired of getting all these phone calls when I am on the DO NOT CALL Registry. I have asked and tried to get off their list for months. I would not use them if they paid me as rude as "Teddy" is I can't imagine their customer service.

I've given up on following their automated system that invites me to press 2 to get off of their list.  I'm already on the DNC list.  Instead, I now press 1, wait for the live operator, and blow a very loud whistle into the phone.

We are getting calls every day from this number claiming to lower our credit card interest rates. I've told them I want off their list and they hang up. This has happened repeatedly. My mom is getting the same thing and by the looks of the internet so are a ton of other people. VERY ANNOYING - what can we do about this?

never leave a message.  I pressed "1" and told them I did so that they would take my name off their list.  They just disconnect me!

I get almost daily calls from this #301-882-9986. I call often and push #1 to remove my name from their calling list, but of course they do not! I did a search and found out the name for this phone # is: Core Communications, located in New Market, MD.  I am on the national do not call registry which obviously does nothing! There is strength in numbers! We are being abused! I will do what it takes for this to stop. Do you have any ideas? Perhaps our local news station. . . I live in the Chicago area. I get calls from this number several times every week, and I have finally given up on their option to remove our number from their calling list. I have been on the DNC registry for almost a year, and I have NO credit cards anymore, so I don't even know why these jokers are wasting their time with me. It's funny that every time they call, the recording says "This is your LAST CHANCE..." and yet they keep on calling.

They will not stop calling and harrassing my family.  They have called several times in the weeks following me asking to be taken off their list.  They call my house anywhere from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a day.

These people are scammers.  They call ALL the time, using varying caller-ID information which is always phony.  They are "vishing" which involves using certain VOIP phone equipment to create phony caller-ID.

I always choose to talk to someone and they almost always hang up immediately if I simply ask for their company name, real phone number etc.  Once I got one to talk for a moment while the insisted that they were legit.  When I asked for the real company phone number they said that they weren't allowed to give it to me.  Their supervisor said "sure, the number is (click)"  :-)

The FTC obviously can't do anything.. they aren't a legit business that can be tracked down by caller ID.  How can we get the FBI involved?

Yep, same comments as all the rest of the folks...very, very annoying!!

I did discover how to block phone numbers on your phone settings. I've entered this number with and without the "1" to ensure they can't get through. Hope this helps you all.

I called back today and was given the option of removing my phone number from their call list.  Apparently, they have gotten the word!

I'm getting sick of these people and their constant calls. I'm going to report them to the Do Not Call list people and to the police.

GET your US congressman or US senator involved, as I did and the CALLS HAVE STOPPED. All of them have a person in their Washington office that will assist you and beleive me they have a great deal of power with other governments agenices, as I found out. This is the best way to bring an END to " NEW MARKET, MD " calls.
