pre recorded message about lowering my credit card rates

caller id listed out of area, no message left on ans machine

please call them into the government or something this is invasion of everyone's privacy.  It is a recording everyday and when you get someone they hang up on you.

I called nations line to complain and let them know that their reputation is on the line if they don't get rid of this client that they sold this number to.  He said he'd pass it along. I said people are getting pissed off and your name is associated with it along with Core communications, inc or cortel out of Annapolis.  I called them too.  If the companies names that this scam mortgage company is using don't do anything about it then who will?

I've gotten so frustrated with these calls that I went out and purchased a very loud whistle, which I now keep next to the phone.  I press one, then blow HARD!

How is it that you know this is the name of the business making these calls?

I get a call from this telemaketing company sometimes twice a day and at least 3-4 times a week.
I did a reverse lookup number. They are located in New Market, MD.
I am also on the fed don not call list. I've tried every thing i know to get my number taken out of their database but nothing works.
What can i do stop this harrassment?

Yes and they are rude too when I ask them to stop calling me.

Let us report them to the National Do Not Call List.  They should be fined for $500 on each call, if they are prosecuted.

since I have caller ID, I don't answer any number I am not familiar with-just let calls go to voice message.  They hang up once the machine answers.  In Denver (if you have Qwest), you can use Call Rejection (*60) and follow the prompts.

Several have posted that these calls are from Core Communications in Baltimore. I searched it on phones.whitepages.com and found that the 301 area code is from suburban District Of Columbia. "It has 629 landline and 132 wireless prefixes (exchanges) serviced by 39 carriers." It appears that Core Communications is NOT the name of the scumbag telemarketing company, but the name of the phone company (carrier) that services all numbers with the prefix 882-. City: Lake Linganore, in Frederick County.

What about filing complaints with that phone company, though?

I STOPPED these PHONE TERRORIST from calling me finally! The FCC will respond and will stop them. It takes time to fill out the form and you must have your info correct. You must document every time they call and report it to no call, then file your FCC complaint. I received a written copy of my email complaint from the FCC and three days after filing my FCC complaint these jerks stopped! They have been calling daily for months. The FCC can and will stop them if you will take the time to file a complaint.
