I get call all the time from various area codes.  301-882-9986 is the latest and when I tried to call it back I was told it was an invalid number and for me to check if I dialed correctly.  I hit the recall button on my phone so it went directly back to the number that the call came from.  Being on a do not call list has done absolutely nothing for me.

Called and I put to ignore, I had a recording on lowering my credit card interest rates. I have Verizon but it has only been recently that I am getting crazy amounts of these types of calls. In January I signed up for a free trial of something, since then, I go a few days with nothing then I go a few days with tons of soliciting calls. It makes me nuts!

I just spoke with Richard at Nationsline.com regarding calls from the above #.  He did check and found it is one of their business numbers.  He told me to send an email to them with the number and they will investigate.  This is a first for me to get any help from a company  like this.  Anyway, I'mgoing  to send a strong email to them and see what they will do.

I am also having trouble with these people. A machine places the call and directs you to press "1" to talk to a representative who will lower your interest on current credit cards. This is your last chance...again for months now 3 or 4 times a day. Usually when you press the "1" to talk to someone to request removal from list, you get told your request cannot be completed right now. They call for nothing those times. If you do talk to someone, you get hung up on. I was polite, but it made no difference. This has got to be some scam, no reputable company behaves that way.

Have received calls from this number. The remote caller (or computer) searches for a FAX machine and I can't shut it off and use my phone until it finally quits trying.

I also have rec'd calls from 301-882-9986.   They call 5-6 times a day every day.  I dialed "1" to get a person and told them I am on the do not call list and not to call again, I'm not interested!!!  I'll be damn if they have called already once today.   Totally fed up with this....

Keep calling.  When I called back they ask me to push a number if I wanted to be removed or another number to talk to someone.  I pushed to be removed but they called back again and again anyway.

All those companies that want to 'lower your interest rates' and get your CC numbers will put thousands of dollars on your cards and do nothing.

They're scams. All of them! Report to FTC pronto so they put those crooks in jail.

so sick of this. I swear if I find the culprit they will be handcuffed and behind bars. This is harassment, and heaven forbid a helpless old woman answers and gives out her credit card number. This is ridiculous.

Pretty much same as everyone else.  They are using VOIP, and spoofing the phone number.  cNet just had an article about this.

I have reported this number and other numbers used by ths company to the PA District Attorney and to the FCC.  When they call now, I press the number for a person and when I get one, I blow a whistle loudly into the phone.  I hate to do ths, but I asked nicely many times for the harrassment to stop and was only hung up on to be called again.  I am on do not call registry.  I checked with local police who said whistle is ok.  I am protecting my own home.  I will try to call Core Communications today, but expect to get nowhere.  Let's all get whistles and keep them by the phone.  that should stop these creeps.

One caller said, too, that he would remove me from the list, but the calls keep coming.

I blocked the number too, but it doesn't matter.  They have many, many numbers they use.  My phone company only lets me block 12 numbers and I've used them up.  I know it's the same folks because it's the same recording, word for word.  I reported to AG and FCC and now keep a whistle by my phone for when I get a person (I always press the button to do so, at first to ask nicely that they stop, but just got hung up on repeatedly,so the whistle it is).   My local police told me this is OK as I am being harrassed in my home.

I called and left a message of complaint.  Let's all do it.

I checked out Nationline's website, Rainman, (Unfortunately after leaving a couple of nasty messages) and it looks to me like they are just a telecommunications company, not a telemarketing company.  Are you sure it's them?

Have received 14 calls in the past 4 days.  Have never answered the phone with this caller Id.  Just registered with Do Not Call List.  We'll see if it works, if not, I guess I can file a complaint for all that will be worth.  Somebody has got to stop these people.

I received a call, but didn't recognize the number.  It showed up as Out of State.  They did not leave a message so I called it back.  Upon calling it back it gave me the option to remove my number.  Not sure if it will work, but it is worth a try.

Constantly calls about interest rates on credit cards, press 1 to take advantage-I did so I could request to be taken off the call list-the guy told me I was being rude and he could not take me off the list-he wouldn't let me speak to a "supervisor"-I hung up.
