call from 301-882-9986 when answered its a recorded message saying "you have been pre-qualified for lower interest rates, press 1 to speak to a representative"

Receiving constant calls from New Market, MD.  Sometimes as many as two per half hour.  This has been going on for a month.  The number is 1-301-882-9986.

I'm sick and tired of these morons calling my house twice a day, every day for the last several weeks.  I often find their recording taking up several minutes on my answering machine.  The last time we were home when they called, my husband hit "1" to see who they were.  They told him they were calling about our Bank of America credit card.  We have nothing with Bank Of America!!!  He told them  that we are on the Do Not Call list and not to call back here again.  However, it seems they are calling even more frequently since then.  Clearly, they are running a scam.  Today when I answered the phone, the guy immediately asked me if I had more than $3000 in debt.  When I said, "it is none of your business..."  he didn't even let me finish what I was going to say which would have been "quit calling me!!!".  He hung up on me.  Now that's professional.  Please call me back so I can do business with you!  (Note the heavy sarcasm there.)  How can I possibly get this number to quit calling my home???

Receive several calls every day. Selected the option to stop the calls to no avail.

I keep getting a phone call from 301-882-9986. They say every time on a recorded message that today is the last day to take advantage of lowering my credit card interest rate. I have opted out of these phone calls by pressing the appropriate button but they still call every day. Today I opted to speak with a representative, I asked her what was this phone call about and she said it was about lowering your interest rate. I said which interest rate and she said your visa and master card, when I asked which visa and master card she immediately hung up on me. I have also received similar phone calls from 515-369-5617. I believe these people are huge scam artists and they need to be stopped.

I get a call from Core Communications every single day. It drives me insane. I am on the Do Not Call Registry and this shouldn't be happening. How can we make this stop?! I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry for the number 301-882-9986...I really hope they do something about it.

Answered call, asked who they are, as soon as I did they hung up.

i think people should file complaints with the do not call registry , who ever is in charge ,is not doing there  job to well

For all who provided the address on Charles St in Baltimore, MD...it is a sidewalk off an interstate.  Just GoogleEarth the address so don't waste your time with writing, etc about them.  These folks called us too and did some research also.  Next time they call and ask for credit card info, I do have an old gift card from Visa that I will give the number to.  Hee, hee!  FCC complaint has already been made.

Received a call from this number saying they will lower credit card rates. Asked if I had credit beneath a certain number and I said no? The callerer replied "Outstanding! Keep up the good work and hung up in my ear. These people and their fraud should be prosecuted.

Got a call from this number too and the strange thing about it is I used to get the same call from Texas and Florida about how to drop interest rates on credit cards. Now the calls come from Maryland. You just can't get these P.O.S. to stop. These people just need put down like an old horse. Too bad there is not a way to send a voltage spike of say 250,000 volts through the line and fry their annoying [***].

I'm SICK AND TIRED of these morons ringing my phone off the hook twice a day.  Starts at 8:30 am and ends at about 4:00 pm.

They can't seem to take a hint.  I tried to block them and they just keep coming through... sometimes on "private".

MORONS!  If I want to refinance or lower my interest rates I'm capable of calling someone myself.

Get a whistle or one of those portable door alarms OR better yet... stick the phone by the smoke detector and press the test button when you answer the phone... that ought to make them them go away.

I just thought of that idea myself.  I'm going to stick the phone by the unbearably loud smoke detector and press "test" next time they call.

Every  times they  call try yelling in there ear. It  still does not stop them. it has not help me I am call the att general today

I YELLED "DO NOT CALL" OVER THE RECORDING AND SURPRISINGLY, a computer voice responded "you have been added to the do not call list" - just hope it works!

No hon, Verizon has nothing to do with it.  You can thank your congress for this.  They recently passed a bill opening up cell phones as available to anyone.  Verizon and other companies may release the lists but it's only because they have to.
