Got the call. pressed 1 for the callback, guy answered:

A: Do you want to lower your interest rates...

Q: Hi, I'm interested in your service. Who are you exactly?

    A: Our company helps....

Q: No, I asked you what company this is. I like to know who I'm talking to.

    A: We offer...

Q: Can you send me something in the mail.

A: We are not a debt consolidation company, We don't send anything in the mail. That costs money. You got money? [Hung up]

He was extremely hostile toward the end, doubtless because I was wasting his time asking for information that any legitimate business would be glad to supply.

I have received 2 calls from this number ~ first one I told them I am not the National Do Not Call Registry and they hung up on me.
Tonight they called again so I pressed #1 and got a woman.  She asked if I was inquiring about a lower interest rate.  I told her NO but I would like her name and her company name for further reference.  OOOOOOPS she hung up on me again.
Wow those people are sure wasting alot of time!
I am going to post the phone # on public on Facebook...  That'll alert anyone else that it's a scam.
Also am going to start an e-mail about the #.
Thanks for this site - at least now I know it's happening to more than just me.

I got a call yesterday from this number.  It came in on my caller ID as "Delaware".  Since I didn't recognize the number and I know no one in Delaware, I didn't answer it.  They left no message.

However, I have my own small business, so after I get one of these calls I always backtrace the number through Yahoo People Search to make sure it's not a new client.  Your posts on this site are helpful to me, because I now know this is definitely some kind of scam.

Just completed the complaint form. If they would have just said, "sorry" and hung up I wouldn't have minded so much. But just to cut me off when I requested that they remove me from their call list was so obnoxiously rude that it motivated me to complain.

I get connected and let the guy go on for a few and then tell him to get a real job and that his mother must be really oroud or else a real piece of s--- just like his scamming a-- and hung up. Then I get a call fro 714-782-1453 and of course it's little Mr. salesman himself telling me he knows where I live and he's coming over to so beat my [***] and how bad he is. Please pray that he actually does so this phone harrassment stops. At least his phone harrassing wil stop.

Telephone call to my answering machine with only a partial message left.  It sounded like just a part of a pre-recorded spiel.  Caller ID said Delaware.

This number displayed on my caller ID (indicating "Delaware") for a call I answered on 6/28/11.  The caller indicated he was wanting to make sure my TV Guides have been arriving on time with no problem, implying that he was calling from TV Guide.  He then went on to tell me that paper costs were going up so my subscription renewal price would be too, except that I was such a good customer that my costs were going to be going down.  When I asked if he was actually from TV Guide he said he was with "Publishers" who I get my TV Guides from.  The problem is I get my subscriptions directly from TV Guide, I didn't go through a third party.  He told me to get the lower price I needed to renew my subscription for two years.  When I told him this call sounded like one I got a year or so ago from someone implying they were TV Guide but who wasn't, and that I wanted his phone number so I could call him back after verifying with TV Guide that they were really a part of TV Guide, he said he didn't have a phone number.  The appearance is this company tries to mislead people into thinking they are already doing business with them.  They may actually be a third party that provides TV Guide, or they may be phishing for credit card info.

I got the 302 call. It was an automated dialer. I pressed 1 to talk to a customer service representative and they immediately asked if I wanted to lower my interest rates. I said no, but since this phone is registered for no call, I would like to ask who is calling. The "customer service rep immediately hung up on me. I called the number back and got the non-working number recording. They didn't call back, but after reading the posts on this forum, I decided to save the number in my phone book and set the ring tone to none. I do that with any annoying callers and problem solved. They can call all they want. I never know.

Store the number in your directory, then set the ring tone to none. It works for me with annoying callers. If they ever call again, I never know it. also, file a complaint with FCC. Maybe if they get enough, they will shut these clowns down.

I got a call from them on my private home line. Same story as above, but what's so funny is this: I'm debt free and don't have any rates to lower! When I told this lady this fact she got totally pissed and cursed at me before hanging up! LOL I have since blocked this number from access to both my home and cell numbers. BTW-Everyone getting calls from any unwanted number, if you have a blackberry download, "Mr. Number Block" it's free and it works!

The 302-232-3130 & 302-526-1234 are both registered in 2 different cities in Delaware however I answered the call from the first number and pressed 9 to talk to a live person. I asked the name of the company and was told Account Services in Orlando, FL.  when I asked if I could be removed from their call list; of course, he hung up. I've been informed by others that everyone who gets calls like this should call the FTC at 877-382-4357 or go to the Federal Trade Commission website and file a complaint. So I have several numbers to list on that website.

I'll answer and say hello, at this point I lay the receiver down and walk away.  If they sound Pakistani or Indian I've got some real hot porn sound bits I play.  My 15 y/o has been sharing some nasty sounding fart sounds and if Oprah's on I'll set the phone by the tv...  Calls have diminshed greatly, and now I'm actually looking foward to the calls.  The worst thing you can do is to take part in any conversation, now matter how short or curt.  Once they understand you're having more fun than them they bug.  Spy shops sell some interesting gizmos that may very well give you the upper hand in the harassment game if you so desire to spend the $$ to play..
