It's a spoof number. These Pos scammers use other companies numbers or fax numbers, in this case, but they are actually somewhere totally different.  Got a call in Oklahoma today. Don't press any number. Even if it's to be taken off their list bc that's a scam as well, at least that's what the do not call website says.

People, it's NOT the trust company.  It's fake.  It's a phantom scammed number.  Don't blame the trust company.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS press the numbers to get a live person.  Cybertime cost these scammers nothing.  Meat time, a real person, cost them money.   ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get real meat, a live breathing person that makes a salary or commission on the phone and WASTE THEIR TIME!!!!!

I spoke with the Corp Trust Co is located at 1209 Orange St, Wilmington, DE 19801. Also known as CT Corp Systems
Read more at http://www.callercenter.com /302-655-5049. She indicated that they are a company that collects corporate registrations for the state of Delaware and some unknown company has tagged their fax number.  She said they have been trying to find out who is doing it.  She also said the have no business reason to call about lowering mortgages or Obama Care.

Got a call from them and answered to find out who they were and how they got my number.  The recording said that Obama had signed a 75 million dollar stimulus for mortgages and if you are behind, or paying interest above 7% that you may be the victim of something I can't remember, but to press 1 to discuss a mortgage restructure, not refinance, but restructure.  Pressed 1.  Live person - wants to know if I'm having problems, and I said maybe but wanted to know what company it was.  She said "Real Estate Hardship Services", then she asked again, and I said, yes I am, but I want to find out more about you before I give you any of my personal information.  She said, "oh, just go to www.mortgageservices.com and all of our information is there".  I'm sure it is....once you register, which I was not about to do.  Copyright name at bottom says PHH Mortgage.  Website address turns into MortgageLoanStatus.com once you hit enter after typing in www.mortgageservices.com.  No doubt in my mind they are scammers.  May call them back for the fun of it.

Automated message saying that Obama signed some bill requiring mortgage companies to provide us with more affordable mortgages. All this crap is a sign of mental as well as financial poverty.

Got a call from this number a little after 9:15am today (10/28/2013).
Something about mortgages. Listened to the recording and hit 2 to be removed from the calling list. Don't know how effective the opt-out option will be.
The recording basically says if you're behind on your mortgage, have an interest rate higher than 7%, or owe more on your mortgage than your home is worth, "you may be a victim of predatory lending." It says that President Obama is mandating that companies offer help or something.
Honestly, most homeowners in the US fall within these parameters if they bought a house at the height of the market. Unfortunately, me included.
Be careful about what you agree to. If Obama was mandating that lending companies offer assistance, your own lending company would be contacting you in an effort to stay compliant with new lending requirements and keep your business.
There are refinancing or loan modification options. Check if your mortgage is owned by Fannie or Freddie and look into one of the HARP programs. Don't sit back and wait for some sketchy recording to contact you. Do some research. Be proactive. Read the fine print. Don't be a "victim" again.

This number called my cell phone at 9:38 AM. The caller ID said Wilmington, DE. I never answer numbers that I don't know and this time was no different. They didn't leave a message.

Received a call at about 10AM today, was driving and didn't recognize number so I didn't answer. No voicemail was left, so obviously it's not important. :)
