Very well said, however, I think you give them way too much credit. I believe most of these guys are convicted felons. It's possible that some of them may have been attorneys in the past. Attorney's that spent time in prison and cannot practice law any longer.

Doooosh bags! Swamp bottom witches! hose bags! hags and [***]! DIRTY B'S get hand me down collection items .. seems like collection companies pass on the un-collected bills from one sleeze bag company to another. Original company wrote the bill off, now these sea hags try to collect and keep most of the money for themselves!

James Stevens & Daniels has called our office, claiming to be attempting to collect a debt owed to McAfee.  1.  We don't use McAfee.  2.  I spoke to McAfee - they don't issue invoices - all services are paid by cc in advance.  3.  The Mcaffe address is at the top of their invoice as Santa Clara (where McAfee is located) but payment is directed to Chicago - go figure.  This is a scam.  Hope this helps someone avoid wasted time and concern.

They call me constantly for no reason I just hang up on them I should just let them babble on and say I didn't hear what they had to say and keep them talking and talking that would show them then maybe they would stop calling I am on the  no  call list as well

I received a call from this number asking for someone that didn't even live here. I asked what it was about and he said " fine, I have no problem suing him.". Thats all he said. He was very rude to me for no reason  

Called our business at 7:06 AM, then again at 7:13 AM, each time just leaving several seconds of silence on VM. First of all, we are on the West Coast (this company is allegedly in Delaware); though we have production staff and workers here by 6AM, the office staff doesn't come in until 8AM. Need to check your time zones, people.  Second of all, our large parent company already has a system for handling past due accounts in place.  After reading these comments, (for which I thank all) and doing a Google search of the company and reading several complaints, there is no way their next phone call will get anywhere except to our spam VM.  

Never do any such work, then you can get tied up legally on both sides.  They need to use their money and resources not innocent bystanders.

This company is calling my job and leaving messages for collections on items discharged in bankruptcy 2 years ago.  This is B.S.!!

Just got a call from a guy that identified himself as Adam, the attorney.  lol  Caller ID says JSD Management.

Collection Agency trying to get info out of me. Spam/Scam

They tried getting our company to use them for collections. When we declined because of their unprofessionalism, they proceeded to call back repeatedly, asking for supervisors and even our HR Department. Why in the world do they think that such actions will win our business?

Calls and hangs up right away. Knows I'm on to there scams.

JDS Management.  Called my business phone many times over the past years, never left a message until this week.  Message identified the caller as Allen Lee with JDS.  He said that he's not going to leave a message but will call back at hopefully a more convenient time so we can talk.  He did call back, but left no message.

wow, just got a call where I work from this #, after i told the caller the contact person was in france , she said shi* and cra*.

Got a call from someone very ignorant who obviously didn't hear me when i answered the phone.  He had the wrong company and basically called me a liar and said i was rude both times he called......This was the first time i "talked" to this person!

I assure you that we have been collecting for Xerox for over 20 years now.
