This company is a telemarketing trying to get private important information from you.  Very unethical.  When I asked what BBC stood for, he said British Broadcasting Co.  High pressuring for personal data when call started until I asked what the initials stood for.  Very arrogant!!

All the positive things said about this telemarketing scum are planted by the company themselves. That alone should tell you a bit about their ethics. When trying to explain that we already have representation the male telemarketer I spoke to started to get belligerent. "I see why you are in the predicament you are in". Avoid them like the plague and find a local company that doesn't cold call you blurting out personal tax info on the phone before they know they've reached the proper party.

It is BBC, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado.  They are a telemarketers but they try to make you believe that you must talk to them, that they are somehow tied to the IRS.  You do not have to talk to them.  Get a local tax attorney and not these folks.  They are rude and unhelpful.

Another tax scammer. Don't give them money. They get your info off any liens you may have (usually the wrong info) and then try to con you into paying them rather than a legit business.

I looked on this site this morning because my wife found a message left on our voice mail at 5:00 p.m. Thursday April 24, 2014.  The person who left the message identified himself as Shawn Madaoro.  He indicated that I needed to call him back at 888-283-6541 regarding " a Federal Matter that had my Social Security Number attached to it".  Several problems.

1.  Our telephone number is on both the Federal and State do not call lists.  So they violated State and Federal Law by making the call.

2.  The content of the message almost implies he is a representative of a Federal Government Agency.  This comes awfully close to impersonating a Federal Agent or employee.   I am very tempted to provide a copy to our local FBI Office for their opinion.

    Under no circumstances will I return the call or even consider using this firm for anything.

This person Ryan Kelly called to harass about a legal matter.

We are on the do not call list. This phone number has called 3 times already, no message on the first two calls/left a message on the third.
a. They're breaking the law b/c we're on the DNC list
b. They're leaving a message that is unclear EXCEPT to say that this is about Federal taxes.
THAT is a frightening message to most people which is exactly WHAT they are hoping for. I would never do business with a company who is dishonest right from the start, PLEASE do not pay any money to this company. They know the rules and are breaking them on purpose for financial gain, period. This is exactly the type of company who will take your money and leave you in the lurks. I'm reporting the call to the FCC now.

Thanks to all of you that left info. I understand now . They called and said it was about a legal matter. Scared me to death. But I did have a very small tax problem with my small business . It has been resolved, but they probably got info on it from some where. They should not leave the message they do. They should just state why they are calling.

This company is a total scam.  Do not work with them, do not give them any money.  They are just trying to prey on people who are down on their luck.  They called me a "tax evader" -- I am working with the IRS and they are being very helpful in getting me on a payment program to resolve the issue.  I suggest that you work with the IRS directly -- they are so helpful and I feel that the penalties and interest are my fault and they should be paid.  I got myself into this mess because I trusted the wrong people to take care of the finances of my small business and by the time I found out that taxes weren't being paid, I had a mess on my hands.  The IRS is working with me and I am very happy with their service.

These people are scammers.  I reported them to the local police fraud team and they have them on file now.  Do not give them any personal information about yourself!

I returned call, and told her that I didn't owe any taxes. She asked for name on message, but I didn't understand it; so, I offered the number that received the message. That worked for her. She found the call, and repeated a name for me that I had never heard of. She said "obviously a wrong number, I'll take it out. She couldn't have been nicer or more polite.

Do not use this company. They will rip you off. The only way to negotiate with the IRS for any matter is to hire a Tax Attorney. Trust me we got ripped off. They will take your money and tell you they are working on your behalf and will not do a thing to help you. That happened to us not this company but a similar scam from a phone call. Do not ever join into a business venture with someone from a phone call. You will be much happier with a Tax attorney to help you out.

I answered a call at the office from them saying they were BBC and needed to talk to someone about the situation.  Wouldn't tell me what the situation was.  He was extremely rude insisting to talk to someone about something he couldn't tell me who what when why that is was privel info.  Then he referenced another company name that I've heard of locally.  When he did that I snapped back at him then dial the right number in the 1st place,  (wanted to say you f&^%$%^ moron) and I do not like your tone of voice, and hung up on him.  Checked the caller ID called the company back.  They answered as BBC and I asked to be removed from the call list.  She wanted to know the name of the person and ext whom which called and I said he was a rude arshope and left no name or number and I didn't give his rude ars a chance to.  She politely said she would figure it out and take care of it.  Mentally punching this guy now.  Don't let anyone speak down to you ever!  Peace

These guys call my cell number several times a day for my ex-husband.  We've been divorced for 15 years, don't know how they got my number!  They say they are calling regarding a 1040 filing.  They do not leave a company name - phone number 303-867-2025 ext 262 Sean Maderas.

These folks called last year claiming the IRS had filed a tax lien against me for withholding. When I said "To pay withholding don't you have to have employess?"  she started back peddling snd the calls stopped.   Now, after getting my entire refund, they're at it again.   If I had a lien the IRS certainly wouldn't send me money.

Same here - no debts, nothing.  I don't answer, but they keep calling
