Ditto what Cal said.  They called me thee times in the last 24 hours and I have asked them to stop all three times.  I am also on the DNC list and they didn't scrub for that either.

This girl who was very threatening said she was calling from BBC regarding my tax lien, I don't have one and told her that I was alreading in contact with the proper authorities and she got nasty. I told her to remove me from her list and then blocked her.

Katia Brushe'(?) called several times over the last week or two, actually left coherent, complete messages for someone who does not live here. Wrong number. Picked up the phone the 3rd time she called; Katia was pleasant, and apologized for the mistake. They seem to get a lot of wrong numbers. Blocked them.

A very young lady called from this number acting like she was the IRS. Apparently it's a "tax solutions" business drumming up business for people with tax issues. Basically she's an unprofessional telemarketer.
I am on the 800 blocked calls list to block my number from solicitors, she was calling illegally.
Their license should be retracted.

Got a call, no message. Gonna call them back & yell; I'm so tired of my phone ringing off the hook with this crap.

I got an actual human when I called just now; she answered "BBC". I told her to take my number off of their list, & she said she would. She didn't sound too happy about it, but guess how many f***s I give?

Called, no message left, caller now blocked.

These folks have called a few times and finally left a message today.  They are calling my deceased brother-in-law who passed away 1 1/2 years ago.  He owed no back taxes, did not have a tax lien, etc.  The caller left her name as "Denise Rosales."   Caller ID showed the number as (303) 867-2025.  Hey, folks, don't deal with this company for tax resolution.  Use a tax attorney and remember that the IRS doesn't call, they send letters.

This company keeps calling to harass my folks over their phone. It is in regards to some ex-cousins and my ex-husband owing money. They keep claiming all of them live here. They don't and I am divorced plus took back my name. Yet the calls keep coming in. Asked to be taken off their listing and they refused.

Be very careful with these kind of offers. My boyfriend got royally screwed by a so-called IRS debt resolution company. They billed him several thousand dollars, which he paid, and they resolved nothing. They kept saying they needed a payment of x amount to do this or that while making all kinds of promises along the way.

Truth Cal! My boyfriend fell for lies from another tax debt resolution company. I told him for the beginning not to get involved with them but he did anyway. All they did was take his money and resolved nothing. He now listens to me. Wish he would have listened in the 1st place.

If you want to resolve you tax debt stay away from anyone telling you they can help. They will only take your money and they will resolve nothing. You're better off dealing directly with the IRS yourself. Do some research online on your own about how to get an offer in compromise with the IRS. That is the only way you can negotiate down debt with the IRS. These tax debt resolution companies are crooks just trying to get into your pockets.

They are willing to make you PAY for doing something you can do on your own. These are pond scum companies who search public records to prey on people.

You are so right! Why would anyone hire a company that trolls public records looking for people who owe money to the IRS. Hire a LOCAL tax attorney, preferably one who has been recommended by someone you trust.

Calling for a neighbor in my apartment building who has the same last name as mine. This was the 6th call today for the same person all 6 calls were from different caller ids and numbers. They all ask for my neighbor by his first name and leave messages if I don't pick up.

They called several times asking for someone else about a federal tax issue and I told him such person and I'm on a National Do Not Call list and he laughed. I said its marketing scam and he said no it's not. They are scammers.
