1) idiot probably thought the DNC list was a good place to start calling people.
2) same number - idiot, "it's not hard to use google."
3) dumb @ss - same method of calling and hanging up, verifying phone numbers? maybe. still an idiot.
4) complete idiot - they are answering the phone. if they're pro's they'll log the # of phone numbers and call from a different line to the same user.

Received a call from 305-209-9901 at 8:50pm central time.  Did not answer.  Thanks all for the info.

Phone number 305.209.9901 called my cell phone. Caller ID listed it being from Florida. The person said I won a $100 dollar gift card to Walmart or another store of my choice because I had visited a website that was giving out prizes. Then the person said that I could redeem an additional $25 card to Applebees or some other restaurant like that if I pay a $4.95 installment fee. I said that I do not apply on any website to win things and that I am suspicious that if I give a credit card number that I will be signing up for some service that I don't want in the unstated fine print. He then had no answer and hung up on me. OBVIOUS SCAM.

Just got a call from this number. No msg left & I've only had this number for maybe a week! What the crap!

Ok this telemarketing company is legit, but they get your number from another company that you ordered either online or by phone order. They have several phone numbers they call from, including from your kcal area code. The time I called back the female assured me she'd remove my number, but then I got a call from an out of area number.
I'd bought jewelry online and that's how they got to me. Great product but I am pissed that they sold my number!

Rec'd call on my cell, no message left.  I did not answer. Call came in 3/11/2013 around 1 PM.

Yep, just received a call from this number. Rang twice and they hung up. I like the guy that called back on his landline and gave a fake name and they said that they had looked up his name and yes he had won the gift card. What a crock that companies are doing this.
