- AlexObviously a tele marketer. When trying to call back I got that rapid busy signal that tells you this number
is only for outgoing calls, hence telemarketer. - ZackI didn't answer; they didn't leave a voicemail.
- CarlaCaller ID said Florida only - started with robot American speaking woman recording wanting to lower interest rate on credit card, then transferred the call to a human, the man could NOT speak good English and kept saying hewoah, hewoah, hewoah (I hung up) ITS A SCAM!!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- How do we stop all this?I did not answer, no message left.
BE AWARE: If you pick up on calls that are these marketing scams then you let them know that they have reached a valid phone number. They sell the numbers to other marketing scams. I now screen ALL calls. as I see it, if the call is important, then a message will be left.
I then save the number with a ZZZ-NoAnswer name, then next time they call, I will know by the look up and the ZZZ places them at the bottom of my phone list. Right now I have 164 of them. - MargeHi, this is Lisa or Ann or Rachelle......... The name changes but is from the same number. Broken English guy answers
and one time cussed me out. Can't something be done???????? - "Anthony H Slowitz"Just another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services " scammers. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!
- Caller: "card services" scammers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Lester| 1 replyOne call this morning. I answered by mistake - clear English speaking automated female voice touting low interest loan on my credit card said press 0 to speak to a representative. Realizing they wanted my credit card # & other details I hung up. If I had pressed 0, no telling where I would have been forwarded to. The call originated from a cell phone in Key West, Florida
- Caller: Florida cell phone
- Al.B.Caller ID said Florida only. When answering machine picked up caller hung up...
- Betsy| 1 replyI wish I could attach an audio file here. I received call from 305-368-8865, with a familiar recorded message: '...nothing wrong with your credit card account, you qualify for a lower rate...' I never pick these up. I thought doing so might end the annoyance. I was asked for a credit card number. No kidding. .. When I hung up, I got MANY calls, in quick succession from 305-368-8003. The first reached my machine . The caller (who I believe I spoke with seconds earlier) left a threating message. According to this caller, my credit cards have all been canceled, and I will never be given credit again, by anybody. I hope there is nothing to the latter claim, in the form of either identity, or real money theft. The caller obviously had SOME information about me.
I will report this to anyone who will listen. - Me| 2 repliesThis profoundly rude person calls says they r going to lower my credit card interest rate. Not interested.. They then proceeded to call back and call me a mother F'r & they r going to come to my house and F me up..
- Me replies to Me| 1 replyThese were the numbers. 305-368-8803 & 305-368-8865
- Me replies to BetsySame exact thing with me..same phone numbers & very filthy language... I mean who calls back to tell u off...REALLY!
- George replies to LesterIt's the card service scammers at it again, using one of their older spoofed numbers, trying to get our credit card numbers to use for their own personal use (drugs).
- George replies to MeWe can't expect much in the way of intelligent conversation, when we speak to drug- addicted felons, such as the card service scammers.
- EmIt's surprising that these lowlives stay in operation. They are scamming naive, innocent people. It's hard for the DNC registry to track them down, because they call from phony numbers. The best strategy is don't answer any call if you don't recognize the number. If it's important, the caller will leave a message. And by the way, if you want to lower your credit card interest rates, call your credit card companies, and negotiate with them directly.
