Keep. Getting calls from this number please block my number talking about my name is with an investigation

This is Melissa Cunningham and I have an afffadavit with your name on it that I am prepared to process in your county...etc.

Melissa Cunningham tired to call me with an automated message...When I called back a young lady with ethnic voice...asked me did I receive a call...put me on hold...and then hung up...They tend to call in the evening.

Yes...They always mention The Finincial Crimes Division...they also said they attempted to deliver to another address but the afadavit or package was rejected.....hmmmmm.....complete SCAM.......

Hi! The purpose of this website is to report on questionable calls. The people at this site have no ability to block any calls you or anyone receives. You will need to get your own call blocker if you want the calls blocked. Putting your name and number on the Do Not Call registry does not help with these calls at all. These people are probably calling fro another country and they are frauds so do not give them any money. They are lying to you. But, you might want to watch your accounts and credit report because it is likely your identity has been stolen. My local police officer says these people prey upon women, mostly, who are in the "50-70 plus" age range because they believe they can intimidate and scare women. I wish you well!

These people were calling from a Georgia number.  SCAM

Just got the same message on my cell phone. Melissa Cunningham.  I block these numbers each time but the threat and phone calls don't stop.  Sick of these calls. Especially since my husband and I just recently went through bankruptcy.  Please make these people stop harassing.

Hi! The people at this website are having the same issues as you with these people calling. There is no one here who can make these calls stop, unfortunately. Some of us have been receiving the calls for months now. Reporting this to law enforcement doesn't help very much since, as my local police told me yesterday, there has been no crime committed. The officer tells me that even at the federal level, they won't even look into it unless the crime invovles $10,000 or more. Unfortunately, these scums are probably calling from another country and spoofing the numbers to make it appear they are calling from somewhere in the US. This makes it even more useless to report it to law enforcement since then it is out of the US jurisdiction. These scumbags most likely have your identity information such as SSN, birthdate, checking account numbers, etc. If it gets worse, you might want to change your phone number but that might not work since the phone number you get could be fro someone who was receiving these calls so they will still keep calling you. You might also want to change your bank account numbers to protect yourself from having your accounts drained. If they have your birthdate, SSN, and bank account numbers, they can drain your accounts in a matter of seconds. I would call all thre credit reporting agencies and put a fruad alert on your accounts to make sure you are notified if anyone tries to open charge cards or buy a house or car in your name. Something like Lifelock might be a good investment. There are many such companies, so I am not recommending Lifelock. It is a common recognizable company that most people know about so please know I mention their name only as an example. Also, I would check my checking and savings account balances everyday to monitor any and all activity on your accounts. In addition, you might want to invest in a Call Blocker for your phone so that you can stop those calls. The trouble with that is that these scumbags often get new numbers so you will be adding new numbers to the Call Blocker once they figure out you are blocking them. Good Luck!

Yes, annonymous, you are correct. The people calling use many names and they are all the same people. The other day when I called, the lady sounded like she was hesitating before giving me her name, like she had to check her "script" to remember what name to give me when I asked. They are pathetic! Also, they call from many diffferent numbers and many different states. I have received calls from Florida, Texas, New York, New Jersey, Colrado, etc. One day Karen Rodgers called me from Texas and Georgia, and Florida all in one day! She must have lots of frequent flyer miles!

Someone name Mark Sheldon with an american accent called claiming he was from the Affidavit Processing Unit in Miami , Florida. He said tha they tried to deliver papers to my address but they had the wrong address and the affidavit was sent back and rejected. I did not call him back. Sound like a SCAM.
