Received a call from this number on Tuesday, 10/15 at 11:54.  Started the same way many of them do:  "This is an important call from Card Member Services.  This is your final notice to lower your credit card debt."  We have no credit card debt.  We only use one card and pay it off monthly.  We are also on the Do Not Call registry for all numbers (house and cells).  We get at least 4 of these per week.

Automated message with no option to remove the phone number, pressing 1 to speak to a " live agent " resulted in the  agent hanging up on me when i asked to be removed.

credit services offering us a better credit rate...blah blah blah

They call at least 2-3 times a week. I finally listened to the full recording (important call from card services) .. I got to a live rep who answered "do you want to lower your credit card bills" or something to that effect. I said no, I want to know what company this is. And he hung up. Called back and it went to a voice mail almost immediately. Of course, the mailbox was full.

I reported to the FCC - don't just block the number. Report it. Only then will someone investigate and put your tax dollars to real use. This is a scam and illegal. They don't care about do not call lists.

they have used at least two other numbers for even the same BS as always for the credit card scams in the past few weeks.  (775)219-8813, (206)397-1975 are the other two numbers that have been popping up calling random numbers.

ot call from this number, did not answeer. Went to voice mail. ONLY word on the message was "File."
No clue who or what.

My Caller ID has no information other than the telephone number. (twice:  once without dashes, once with dashes).  Not a chance in a million that I'd pick the phone up!

This number (309) 585-8044 calls weekly...hangs up on us when we try to get removed from their list.  SCAMMERS!!!   How do people who do this sleep at night?  Jerks.

These people call us several times a week. I waited an spoke to a person asking to be removed from the call list and was told that's not possible.

Keep getting calls and don't know what to do or who to call--any suggestions?

The DNC list is ONLY for certain calls and only ones that originate in the US

 Certain people in the US are are exempt (like charities and political calls) BUT the issue is these are NOT calls based in the US

 They faked caller ID numbers and they do not care how many time you asked not to be called - they will call you anyway

The US has NO legal Jurisdiction over them and their governments do not care

All you can do is just not answer

Called my wireless number.  Did not recognize it, so I let it ring.  They did not leave a message.

I guess Obama and his ilk have nothing to do with it?????  A pox on both houses.

They just called my house about 15 mins ago.  I let the answering machine pick up.  I figure if they call back I will answer "city morgue, you stab em, we slab em" lol.
