This is the 3rd construction call I received today.  Same pitch, I spoke with you last year, etc.  I told them I was going to report them and take me off the list, he hung up before I was finished.  I phoned the # back and got a not in service number.

The same thing happened to me--exactly!  I called back and phone number was not in service (3 seconds later)

Did not recognize number so did not pick up. They did not leave a message, just hung up.

Call from this number at 9:46am, sent to voice mail a few seconds later, call from same number, sent that one to voice mail also. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer and there was no message left. If I don't recognize the number I don't answer and if they want a call back they will leave a message. I guess they didn't want a call back because there was no message left. If they are a marketing company, I registered my number with the do not call registry so they shouldn't be calling me anyway.

Let no message.  Fake call back number.  Pain in the butt.  Wish the FBI would catch these annoying creeps.

Received a call from this number with no ID and no message. Blocked the number, assume scam / telemarketer.

9:30 am Veterans Day. A few seconds, a static punch then a recording says, "This is Jack" and that's it.

Started receiving calls from this number in Jan 2014.  Even though I have Blocked this number, they have continued to call 23 more times.  Phone only rings once then blocks but number shows up on ID.

Tryed to say they were a local home business, free estimates and inspections, with a 40% coupon, i told them no, guy got upset and questioned my intelligence and got racial about where i live. Reported his number and company to the FTC and BBB.

Received 2 calls in a row marked "California" 310-349-8549 on 11-25-14. No one on the other end.

Same things have happen on my phone as reported by the previous posters.

Got a call today at 3:30pm. Guy called me by the wrong name then asked if I was the man of the house. When I told him yes, he hung up. Same as others, when I called back, the number was "no longer in service". Punks!

These scammers are horrible. They won't leave you alone once they get your number. They call day and night with their tired old remodeling scam. Despite filing complaints with the FTC they are relentless criminals.

Called Mr Cohen and he actually picked up his cell himself, not voicemail.
He seemed to be a decent guy. Talked to him for about 10 minutes.
He is bothered that he pays a company to provide him a list of valid (not on do not call list) numbers that his business can legally call, and he gets about 90% good numbers and 10% bad ones (numbers listed on do not call list). He has changed companies 10 times and they all lie. Once he got a list and 50% were bad numbers. So as a business I understand his side, and genuinely want to solve the problem of his side of this vicouse cycle of madness.

I don't mind getting a call every once in a while even though I am registered on the do not call registers, however when I do pick up the phone, or even bother to call them back to see who it is, there is never anyone there...I don't get it. So now I am more annoyed that I get 10 calls a day, leaving 10 hang ups, and I can't make them stop.

I got a call asking for my dead husband by his first name.  I said I was Mrs. (deleted name).  He said he was from the Home Center.  The caller indicated that had talked to my husband in the past about work around the home and were calling back.  I asked when they had talked to my husband and was told November last year.  I said it was a miracle because my husband has been dead for 3 years.  I said I was offended and to never call again.  Obviously the person hung up.

Called Sunday 1/18/2015 at 9:15 am.  Hung up when I picked up.
