Where's your store? Answer: All over. We're a franchise. What's your company's telephone number? Answer: 888-279-9088.  That number is not a valid phone number.

I got the same call.  I also got this same recording from the number 310-276-5060.  These people are horrible human beings.  

I also got this call from 800-376-1983.  I called it and a woman answer.  I couldn't understand her so I asked her to repeat the company name.  She then hung up on me.  I tried this several times with the same out come.

I've gotten the same recorded phone call twice--once Thursday, and again today.  The first time I hung up, then today I listened to the whole recording and chose the option to have my number placed on thier do not call list.  Of course, I'm already on the national do no call list, so they shouldn't have called me in the first place. Thank you to "very angry" posting--I will be calling them to complain and reporting them to the FCC for violating the Do Not Call registry.

I get a call several times a week.  I am also on the Do Not Call registry so I shouldn't be getting calls from them.

despite being on the national do-not-call registry, i received a recorded call from 'allison' last week (see rik's comment of 03/23/07 above). during the call i chose to be removed from the database, however that did not work, and i received 3 more calls later in the week. today i chose the option to "schedule your appointment" and asked for the company name. "best carpet cleaning" was their response. when asked why they kept calling me when i had requested to be removed from their list, they hung up.

FOLLOW UP: called the number mentioned by "angry", the answer was "carpet care". when asked for the address, they put me on hold, and a supervisor came online. hung up on me after the question about calls. found the company by their number on the better business bureau website. they came up as "infinity carpet care" ("on-time carpet cleaning" is just a website). here's the link to the bbb's report: http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/Co ... anyID=100044910
thinking of filing a complaint if they call again!

They have called me so many times that i finally just filed a complaint.
I happen to work at home and get a call from them every few days.
Hopefully this will give all of you above and myself some peace :)

I've gotton automated calls from "Allison" 310-388-8021 numerous times despite being on the National DO Not Call list.  I pressed "1" to speak to someone live, but as soon as I ask how they got my number they hung up.  I have also asked to be taken off their list but still get their calls.  Today I called the above number (800) 376-1983 and spoke to their "assistant supervisor" margaret grant.   I will also post a complaint with BBB and FCC>

The next time they call I will schedule an appointment with them at the abandoned house across the street.

2:26pm same "Allison" message. They said their name was "Best Carpet."  When I asked for their phone number they said "Hold on please" and hung up on me.  I am on do not call registry for 2 years.  After googling "Allison carpet cleaner telemarketer California," I found these postings and called the number listed above (800) 376-1983 twice.  The second time, I got what sounded like the same lady who called me, so I asked her if this was "Best Carpet."  She said yes, then when I asked if she just called, she quickly hung up.  Sounds like you guys found the right place.  So what do we do now?

Identity of "Allison" calling company confirmed!  The phone number is definitely (800) 376-1983.  Using VoipBuster, I set my caller ID to that of the California Better Business Bureau and called the 800 number.  I asked them if they were making computerized calls for carpet cleaning under the name "Allison" and company name "Best Carpet."  The woman said "yes, we are doing that."

Same as the rest, call and hangs up when not home.

I have gotten calls from "her" as well, did the press 8 thing and still got calls.  Pressed 1 and told them not to call and got hung up on.  I'm on the registry as well, so I guess the next step is to contact the BBB.

I actually just talked to a guy with an accent.  I asked him to take me off the call list, gave him my number and told him that there is a whole website devoted to complaints about them and that people are filing complaints with the BBB.  He wanted the web address and I told him he could do his own research ... I did mine and I'd be filing a complaint.  thanks to whoever created this website!

Phone rang twice. I picked up no answer. I suspect a predictive dialer thought I was an answering machine.

selling carpet cleaning - will not provide thier names or address.

Got a call and I remembered getting a call from a carpet cleaner months ago that I wanted to call back but never got the chance. I called to get some info and the girl was very rude dismissive and hung up on me. I'm just trying to get some info and request to be removed from their list, but they keep hanging up. Are there any laws against me calling back until I get my request satisfied? Do we have any other recourse?

It seems to be the same one as everyone is reporting here. I've obtained several names they go by: AAA Carpet Care, Best Carpet Cleaners, Best Carpet Care, On-Time Carpet Cleaning, and Infinity Carpet Care. Addresses I've found are 14709 Vanowen in Van Nuys and 18541 Sherman Way in Reseda.
