Called again today at 12:15pm.  Blocked from their first call.  Our phones do not ring when they call.

Illegal?  That's a benefit for criminals...They know they are protected by politicians.. In this country you are in trouble if you live by the law. Ask CA, NY, WA, OR, MA etc. Most of these calls originate in one of  these states.

I answer the calls now with what are you selling, there is a pause and they hang up

Caller asked for person who resides at this address.  As I attempted to explain that person is not available, the caller disconnected.

Telemarketer continues to call from fake number, keeps talking about energy savings, ignores and talks over request to stop calling, then hangs up! What kind of people do this???? Why does this continue, taking up 90+% of all calls?????

8/21/17 9:14 PDT  This number has been blocked for a couple of months, but apparently, they can't distinguish numbers to delete from their call list.  On my end, it rings once and disconnects.  It's their dime, not mine.

I took the call. My caller ID said it came from a cell phone. I asked the name of their company and they said it was the Home Improvement Depot. I asked them where they were located and they said Universal City. I kept him on the line while I looked up the company on the contractor's license website. There is such a company in that area. So I asked him for his call back number. He gave me a number. I said thank you and said I would call him back. I looked up the number he gave me. It was the cell phone number private person. It did not match the phone number of the company listed on the contractor's license website. So I don't think the call was legitimate.
