This poor scammer used the over four years OLD scam number kept trying to scam people!!! Beware and blocked forever.

8/24/17 14:21 PDT Still trying.  ID this time is repeat of phone number, but since blocked, only rang once.

John - I can assure you that the contractors license # given to did not belong to the person that called you from a cell phone.  This is an age-old scam call or a phishing call.  Please consider letting unknown calls go to your answer machine.  Legitimate callers will always leave a message.  We received a call today from these folks at 4:40pm.  Blocked from their first call.

This is a Contractor/Construction Broker calling on behalf of a couple dozen different Contractors (Whichever one he's trying to find work for). Brokers get 10%-15% for contracted (Signed) jobs. Problem with these guys is they are WAY over priced and most are unreliable. Same goes for looking for contractors thru Angie's list or Home Advisor. BEWARE! You are better off hiring thru Home Depot or Lowes, at least they will make it right if something goes wrong. And there is also the Yellow pages and Yelp!

The State of California has licensing requirements for these "brokers". A "home improvement salesperson" (HIS) is defined in Business and Professions Code (BPC) section 7152 as a person who is employed by a licensed contractor to solicit, sell, negotiate or execute contracts for which home improvements may be performed, a swimming pool, hot tub or spa constructed, or home improvement goods or services installed or furnished.

Ask them for their HIS number.

Must be using this number again after several years. CID said "wireless caller" - at glance looked like my neighbor's #.  Heard the pause-click-connect when I answered & I immediately said "(fake company name here"), may I help you?"  A male voice said "sorry, wrong number" & hung up.

Called while I was away. Called back and got nothing.

Called this AM. Left no message. CID was "Wireless Caller". Obviously a telemarketer/scam call. Now blocked.

Seriously?  Two calls already this morning from these reprobates and it's not even 10:30 yet?  I let it go to voice mail and here's a surprise - no message left.  Apparently it's important enough to call every hour but not important enough to leave a message.

Persistence does NOT pay off for this tele-spammer. Tried yet again today at 9:50 am. Remains blocked.

Woman asked for my wife, and I asked how may I help.  Google gives out names on our unlisted numbers, and we the customers need to remember NOT to say YES when these SCAM artists call.  I will soon write Google and suggest a lawsuit might be in order for violating our privacy.
