I got several calls from 1-818-230-1464 saying I owed $498.69 and I had 1 hour to pay 1/2 or go to jail!  They knew my name ss# and employer I called the police and my lawyer he said it was a scam caller wanted me to go to western union get a green dot pack and call him with the number or else! Oh I'm mad!!!! I kept asking who do I owe..... He said I cannot tell you that lawyer said they have too so did police. Caller said his name was "cal cooper attorney with financial crime investigation"

This phone number called trying to collect a debt of 585 dollars, or else we would have to go to court. He was asking for us to pay with 2 Walmart money pak or something each of 300 dollars and they wanted it immediately. They spoke Spanish to my family member and said he worked for the Los Angeles minor court said his name was Jose Antonio Sandoval. He didn't even speak English. So if they call you Tell them F off. They also made the call seem as it was coming from one of our uncles phones. And saying that he had a hold of the account until we paid. Fraud

Similar issue here in Phoenix. Guy called my Spanish speaking friend claiming he needed to pay $500 for an English course that would keep him out of jail. They're now threatening him and his father stating they are subject to deportation if they don't pay. I called them back from my landline and he answered "Si, bueno" - I asked him why he was harassing "my client" about a product he never bought and he hung up the phone.
