Because of my payment history....I can get a deal. Automated call . The odd thing is, when I blocked the call, the blocker said successful but the call did not disconnect.

Called my work number and left a voice mail message re: eligibility for 0% interest rate on all my credit card accounts if I enroll.

They have called before but today it aid Peoples Assis, I answered out of curiosity, got a recording regarding credit card debt so pressed 1, lady came in and asked if I had more than $10,000 debt and I said, "He'll yeah!"  She hung up on me!   The nerve!  So... retailed the number 30 Times!  Thanks fir calling if you wish to be placed on a do not call list press 1,   I didn't, did it to see what would happen.   So now y'all have more info.  ISO wanted to give them my card number,  555-55-555.  Yes it doesn't exist

8/28/17 13:50 PDT Thanks all for your reports.  I didn't recognize ID or number, so didn't answer.  There was the  message that my interest rate could be reduced on my credit card.  The person speaking had an accent, but won't attempt to say where is was from and there was never anything saying which credit card was so lucky to be able to reduce the interest on.  I never pay any interest because I  always pay in full.  Have now added this number to my blocked list.

better yet get them to hold while u find the  cards so you can give em the #s..(not likely don't do that)

Another card scam, English-accented woman on robocall before the Indian/Pakistani-accented human came on.  The number is spoofed, as I've received the EXACT SAME CALL from several other numbers, including when they actually spoofed MY OWN NUMBER.  I realize these people aren't the brightest lights in the harbor, but spoofing the number you're trying to scam seems like it should obviously be something you don't do.  I guess not, as these people can be gotten rid of by simply asking them "Where are you located?" - they will tell you some city, and when I ask "Why are you spoofing your number?" they'll hang up.

Yes, I do like to lead these people on, and have fake card numbers and info to provide them if "needed"; they usually just hang up and call someone else.  I'm going to have to find a different hobby.

Rang 4 times and disconnected. Caller said People's Assistance, I am sure they want to assist me in lowering my bank account! Scammer.

Tried to waste as much time their time as possible. They caught on after 5-6 minutes - better luck next time.

The credit card interest rate lowering scam calls had really slowed down substantially the last 6 months but now it seems they're on the rise again.

This was a recording of a British woman's voice. She was talking about changes in the Federal Reserve... and I hung up. When will these crummy calls stop?  310-947-8192
