Same situation described previously, first call they ask for your printer model supposedly to send you a manual, second call a person tells you that your price for toner went up and you were accidentally not notified and offer you toner at the same price. They were pretending to be Konica Minolta for us, but we get our supplies from them for free with our lease so I knew it was bogus.

Tell them that your office is using a Xerox 9700 laser printer and that you still have at least another five years worth of toner cartridges so you do not need anything they have to offer.  Let them work out that it was discontinued in 1997.

multiple calls regarding sending a new no charge updates manual for our copier and then progressed to toner pricing going up...Claimed to be from Canon. (Liar)  Caller ID said AWD PPE

Caller ID said COVIDALERT. This man called us several times with the same scheme of trying to get us to get printer toner and then when we questioned him on his intentions he played victim and said that everyone was being rude and that he wanted to speak to a manager and even mocked my coworker when they tried to ask what he needed from us. Definitely a scam from what I'm seeing from the other reports.
