I have had repeated calls from this number and thought it was my psycho ex. Now come to find out I am really not sure who it is from. They keep calling every and I mean every day. I do not live in Chicago, I refuse to live in Chicago, so why oh why will they just not leave me alone!

This company continues to call and does not respond after we pick up. Please make sure they remove our company from their calling list.

I also receive mutiple calls from this number which I usually do not answer. When I do answer, there's no one there. The Tribune DOES keep calling me trying to get me to resubscribe as I cancelled my subscription back in about October of last year.

did you get results from the do not call list? I just renewed with the chicago tribune and since then I have been getting these calls several times per day.

My take is just different, I think it is an autodialer looking for open modem ports on PC's. If a computer answers it would be fairly easy to have some code take control of the PC...from there...its anybody's guess.

I am on the do not call registry and have an unlisted phone number as well.  To date I have received 41 illegal calls from this number.  Is the Tribune management SO STUPID to really think a person would subscribe to their paper after this abuse???  If I ever considered subscribing, I never would because of the way they are treating people.  They will have no one to thank for their demise but themselves.

they called today but did not answer and they left no message. i too live in chicago and have recently dropped my chi-trib subscribtion.

My unpublished phone number is also on the DO NOT CALL registry.  What part of "DO NOT CALL" don't they understand???

What is interesting is that when the calls from 312-380-5416 start, calls from 708-628-5471 also start.  There must be a connection between these two numbers as they both call during the same several hour time period.  When one stops, so does the other.  The 312 number called 10 times the same day that the 708 number called 21 times.  

In total, 312-380-5416 has called 56 times and 708-628-5471 has called 47 times.  I again say is the Tribune that stupid to think that 103 calls violating the do not call registry would make anyone want to subscribe??  That is why the paper is failing, total lack of common sense!

This is so annoying. This is a person working for the Chicago Tribune soliciting orders.  Several months ago we cancelled our subscription to this newspaper.  Ever since that time, we have been bombarded with people from the Tribune begging us to rethink the cancellation. I have told them NO many times but the calls keep on coming. I do not want the newspaper anymore. They call at least 4 times a day at many different hours.  Extreemly annoying & I want this to stop.

Report them to the Do Not Call Registry EVERY time they call. They will be fined.
