Called at noon on Saturday 7/30/16. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I blocked the number.

They called at 8:30am, didn't recognize number so didn't answer.  When I called back the message was from "Informed Electorate" whatever that means.

I agree,  I think they are trying to earn our confidence. An old song, "Getting to know you, getting to know all about you".    Which for the scammers would  be your bank number, credit card number,  SS number, email, valuables in your house,   They would love to know if you have a house  alarm, what kind, and where it is.  Answer only calls you know,  As long as we answer they will keep trying.

These people rang my Skype number. It's a Texas number, but I live in Australia. I didn't answer, and no message was left.

Call often and do not leave message. We do not answer calls from unidentified numbers.

Have called 3 times.  First two calls were politically topical with the third requesting a $20 donation, payment by credit card would be best but a check by phone would be alright.  He was informed that neither of those appealed to me and I hung up.  Have since blocked that call.

Got the call at 10:07 am, August 10, 2016. I hung up on them and will block.

The same online call-blocking service is what I have, and they did block the number. Since the number already was on their blacklist, you can bet it's a scammer-spammer. And it appears the caller seems to be a political survey-taker, setting you up for the Big Squeeze with donations. Sure. Right. Yeah.

Caller ID: SURV INFORM... 312-667-9781.  No one in this household takes surveys, over the telephone or otherwise, so we did not answer the call.  Regardless of the fact that the government has supposedly declared surveys as "non-telemarketing" calls, a ROBO dialer can be programmed to display ANY name or organization AND phone number, even if the caller has nothing to do with the organization or person they claim to be.  Best thing still is not to answer unknown calls.  And I'm absolutely amazed that so many idiots are still calling the scammers back.  WAKE UP PEOPLE!

This call came from SURV INFORM ELEC and is a survey to find out what the citizens want and think about our Governments actions and the election.  We can take it seriously to voice our ideas and beliefs, or be quite and let the Government overrun us.

Be "quite?"  Surveys don't change elections and they don't ask for donations.  You're not as informed as you think.
