This number called several times and I finally answered. It was a young man with a middle eastern accent who said his name was Scott Smith and that my loan had been approved. I told him I was pretty sure it hadn't been approved due to the fact that I had not applied for one. I told him I was also pretty sure his name was not Smith and most likely he was not in Chicago where the call came from. He asked why I would think that and I responded your accent gives you away. He asked if I was American and said " because most Americans are not that smart."  Then he proceeddd to tell me his "magic jack" is from Chicago and laughed. After that I just hung up. He did call back but I won't answer again

no message- similar number of other spam calls.

Just an hour ago 312-724-5812 called me informing me i was a approved for a loan. I told them i didn't apply for a loan and the indian guy hung up. He called 10 times in a row after that. I kept answering and even threaten to call fcc and fbi. They didn't call no more since. I called them playing on their phone and the didn't like it at all. Now they know how it feels for someone to play on their phones.

Wish somehow you could report this number to Federal officials and have stuff like this stopped.  Any suggestions?

Last night i told my children's father about how they've tried to scam me. I gave the the (312)-724-5812 number they called me from. He called and pretended to be the FTC in conjunction with the FBI and that he was federal issued affidavit traced call requested by ashley (me) and the indian [***] son of a B**CH qiuckly hung up in a hurry LOL. Haven't been getting no calls none of last night and neither today. That's how you throw their little scam back in their faces. I'm still laughing behind it.

This number is calling me 3-5 times a day and I finally answered twice this morning and both time a man with a heavy indian accent is threatening to kill me and my family and that he is outside my house and told me my home address. I don't understand how he got my number or my address I keep all of my information confidential.

If anyone knows who this is please report it because I had to call the police thinking someone is outside my house ready to kill me while im at work my family was inside asleep.

They are Indian or Pakistani hard-core scammer/extortionists.  As such they ignore all US laws and requests to stop calling.  Call blocker is your best bet and do not pick up on numbers you do not recognize.

No one here is calling you.  Your callers are Indian or Pakistani hard core scammer/ extortionists  and beyond the reach of US law.    You can't pursue ANY legal action.   However a call blocker might help and you can also protect yourself by not picking up on call numbers you do not recognize.

Your callers don't read this forum.  (I don't think they do)  You can protect yourself with a call blocker and do  not pick up on calls you do not recognize.  These people are serious scammer/extortionists located in either India or Pakistan.

I have requested several times to have my number removed from this call list and they keep calling.

They call every day from different numbers asking for my ex boyfriend from two years ago. It is definitely harrasment & putting my number on the international do not call list doesn't work. These people disgust me

Just submitted complaint to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx 

Tells me that I am approved for a loan for $5000 but have to purchase a voucher from Walgreens or radio shack and loan $200 onto it for verification and then deposit the money into checking account. I want these calls stopped

I have been getting a call from (312)724-5812 for about a week,i answered and the "person"on the other end hung up,a friend of mine called back on their phone about an hour later  and it kept ringing,they still continue to call me...any suggestions anyone?
