automated message telling me to call this # back because I was in trouble with IRS for fraud

I just got this too... then when I called back it said all circuits are busy.

got the same message and they indicated it was IRS

Automated call stating that there is an IRS tax fraud case pending against me.

Threatening assests, jail time, etc. Stating incorrect income tax information to scare individuals into paying what THEY say is owed on previous years taxes filed by CPA.  Don't fall for this scam!

I first laughed, but then thought about the poor people that might fall for this scam. Please do not fall for this trick and tell your loved ones to beware. It seems to me that the IRS might want to go check them out...at least that is my logic.

Same as above.  Scam artists saying you are being investigated for tax fraud and you are going to be jailed.
Dear God, I hope no one falls for this!!  This isn't the way the IRS works, even if you do owe money.

Same scam call claiming a fraudulent claim has been filed against me with the IRS & to call them before I get arrested. If you call the number, all circuits are busy.

I received the same message today, the 11th of July 2015. As a tax preparer, please do NOT fall for this scam. This is NOT how the IRS would inform people if they are being audited. The IRS will send a letter, not a threatening phone call.

Just received a VM from this number requesting me to call because I'm going to be arrested for Tax Fraud

I got this call- the best thing to do is *67 your phone number and call them back and harass the crap out of them. I do it on a regular basis and the guy is so mad at me he apologized. I will not stop calling them and harassing them as long as they call me.

BEWARE!!!  On my machine, I just got the same call from Officer Steve Parker from the IRS saying if I did not call them ASAP the case for tax fraud would go to federal claim court or I would get arrested.  People this is a scam and report it to the authorities.

It was an automated call. Told me they were from IRS and telling me about fraud on my IRS account!!! Told me to call back immediately!!! I just laughed and said to my self, " I am old, but not crazy!!!" Totally a scam.😜😜

I just got a call from this number. I was listening to the automated message and I was frowning because I ALWAYS file my taxes correctly. So I called them back and this Indian rude lady, whom said shes the investigating officer on my case, said officers will be at my house in 45minutes to arrest me. Im like WHOA, WHO THE HELL R U AND WHAT TAXES R U CLAIMING I OWE???!!!???!!?? I wont lie, I was scared out my mind and I had to find my taxes frm three years back to c if I did something wrong. These people need to quit playing with people's lives.

I just received a call from this number, Last year around same time I fell for same scam and lost $4000. Authorities should do more investigation to stop this, I did report to FBI and local police station everything.

My husband received a voice message from this phone number claiming to be the IRS. If we didn't call back we would be arrested for tax fraud

I received a message from this number claiming that the IRS was about to get involved regarding tax fraud. I believe this is a scam. Please look into this.
