Got a call from this number and googled "what is phone number 312-940-6951". It came up all over the place as fraud.  I then googled "ftc report scam."  you can then go to their site to register a complaint, and put their number on your "do not call" list.  Hope that helps,

I got the call from 312-940-6951 ---213-674 4949 ---  Same as everyone else EXCEPT  when I asked him how much I owed he said $4998 and I asked him that where did it come from that if I messed up what w2 was I missing  He said you should know already you are the one that owes it and evading taxes.  I said OK NOW if the IRS found it then they know where it came from.  He hung up when I went to call back it was just a busy signal.. I know it worked because I just called it.  So, I called the other number I asked if I could just turn myself in to the police now.  He said do not talk to me like that then proceded to call me 6 horrible names then told me to fuq myself and if I couldnt get a [***] to do it.  I called again and asked for a supervisor or manager and he said no manager or supervisor and he then hung up hung up.  He never asked for money but I guess its because I asked where the amount came from and he didnt have a legit answer so he hung up.

Total scam and I called him out on it cause I'm in the legal industry and I know better. He had said he worked for the US treasury and my tax info filed in 2012 was inaccurate and there is a warrant out for my arrested. Then I told him I would need his name, email, phone, address, and a complete break down of what he was talking about if he does "supposedly" work for the US Treasury. Then he hung up on me. People like this need to go straight to prison. How have the proper authorities not arrested these guys if they have a phone number and they're committing fraud? Are they bouncing signals off house or something, that's why they can't find them? Please someone catch these people, I can't stand these low life losers that drain on our economy and con hard working Americans out of there money.

Obviously a fraud.  Hope the FCC and/or FBI investigates. Claiming they are with the IRS and have a tax fraud case against me. I've listed this as a debt collector but it's criminal fraud.
