They will not stop calling from all different #'s.  They will not give up.  I have been getting calls for a couple months now.  Same kind of story.  Different fake names that do not match or sound like the accents.  They can't even explain themselves clearly.  They have called friends and family threating me and them.

They impersonated them when they first started calling.  Hopefully they will be stopped.

Indian accented guy using a very American name saying I owe on a payday loan from 12/07.  I did not ever recieve this loan nor does my bank ever have any record of this money being deposited into my account as he states.  They just called my father and best friend yesterday and told them they needed to have me call them. I have no idea who this is, but I do no owe them money and will not pay.

These people are nothing but a scam!  I hope know one falls for this kind of call....they are using Zaba Search to get your personal information and then threatening to have you pick up and arrested if you don't pay!

GET A GRIP......THEY NEED TO BE ARRESTED, if they can't say who you they are, where they are located, and the details about whats going on, turn the tables on them.....ask who are you and where did you get the information from......ITS ILLEIGAL!!!!!!

Oh they LOVE to call me.
One day the guy and I got into a HUGE argument.  When I asked to speak to his supervisor he put me on "hold" then less than a minute later HE came back acting like the supervisor.

They've been calling me off and on for a few months now.  Yesterday they called and I told them they had the WRONG number and they PROCEEDED to give me MY information.  Today I get another call and I picked up and the guy says "aren't you scared"  LMFAO!!! because yesterday they said "I would be meeting you at your place with the police"

"Eric Smith" in a very heavy accent left me a message saying I or my attorney needed to call on this very sensitive matter. Repeated phone number twice, extension 1077, said Return the call.  If you don't, the only thing I can wish you is Good Luck as this situation unfolds down on you.  I didn't return the call, but came straight to the internet to see if it had been listed as a scam, and sure enough found this site!

I recieved a similar call they had told me that i owed $983.00 and told me that if i don't pay them that they would send some out to come take me to court and i woul pay a total of $5542.00 in fines.

Got a message from this number at home AND WORK!! Same person called me from a Florida area code last month, I told him it was a fraudulent call and he hung up. Now is calling from a Chicago area code and leaving the same message. Last time he called he called my sister also and threatened her with a lawsuit over $200 saying I defaulted on a payday loan. This person has all of my information.

Same here they call me today saying that i owed $983.00 in payday loans that i did not know about and if did not pay today they would send someone out to me and bring me to court. today reported them to the police in salt lake city and put fraud alert on my credit file also reported them to the ftc.

They call me numerous times of the day. Even as late as 12:00am. When I answer I am greeted by a guy who sounds Arabian or Pakistanian, or something (very heavy accent) stating his name is Eric Smith. I laugh and ask what his real name is. He then tells me that he is a legal officer and I am in serious trouble at this point. I ask him what the debt is for and he tells me to hold on while he transfers me to a "senior legal officer". I am then transfered to a guy named Lennie who states that I defaulted on a payday loan. (Really funny because I have never taken out a payday loan, nor does my credit report reflect any such thing) I asked him who he works for and he states "The National Legal Department". I laugh every time. He tells me it's not funny and that he is a legal officer. I ask if he is a legal officer of the law. He states he is. I then ask for his badge# and he states that he will not provide that information as it is illegal. Again I laugh. He tells me that I can laugh all I want. He states that he will be sending a legal officer to my home to pick me up for a court hearing. I then ask where the hearing is and he just tells me I'll find out tomorrow. Again I laugh. I tell him that I work for a collections company and what he is doing is ILLEGAL. I then tell him that I have just called the authorities and an officer is on his way to file for harrassment. He then tells me to hold on. I start to talk and he asks me to please hold on while his atty informs him of information. He comes back on the phone and states I am now speaking with Frank Jackson. I again laugh and ask for his real name. He tells me that this is not a laughing matter and I will be going to jail along with my family and my brother's kids will be going to foster homes. Once my family was brought into the matter (especially my niece and nephew) I became irate and told him he can pick me up now if he has the balls. He told me he'll be right there. The officer shows up by this time and when I tell the guy on the other line I want him to talk to the officer who just showed up he hangs up. I tried to call him back and they just hang up the phone. These people are a serious SCAM and please do not give them any of your personal information and please please please do not pay them anything. Report them as soon as you get the call

these people are a scam  they called me 2 weeks ago asying i had to pay on a payday loan from 3 or 4 years ago that i defaulted on.  they called from a different number before.  they advised me they were going to drag me out of my home and arrest me in front of my children if i didnt pay in an hour.  i reported them to the FTC.  the other number they had before was 312-281-2221.

Have been calling for a month now stating I have committed Federal Bank Fraud and if I do not pay this money owed someone will be here to arrest me.  Messages left threaten that if I do not call back they wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on me.  I have been to the police station and have filed a report.   They did call the many differant numbers and had no luck getting any information from them.  Some of the numbers have been disconnected.  The most recent numbers are 312-962-5282 ext. 1080, 800-717-1708 ext 1043 and 813-283-4343.  Names of Frank Jackson, Jerry Barlow and Kim Moore.

Lol, they called my direct work phone, with all my information, about a payday loan (which I have never gotten), the guy could barely speak english, and when I told that I was under federal investigation for several felonies regarding my non payment, I informed the caller (I could hear another non english speaker in the backround yelling at another customer)that he had called the federal government, and this was a recorded line, what is your name, what's the name of your company etc.. he hung up quite quickly.
So I called him back, and now they don't have a record of the # in their database, but what is my name and he can pull up my record that way.
I declined to give him that information, but that I had passed along their information to "my section security chief" and that their company was now under investigation.
He hung up quickly.

This number has called me at least 10 times a day for the past three days. On the third day they called me 10 times between 7:30 and 8:00 in the morning.They havetold me about a payday loan that I never took out. All of their info for me is wrong. They have the wrong job, home address, and thankfully the wrong work info. And of course unless I pay a police officer is picking me up at 11:00 the next day to take me to court. I told them that I was going to report him and he said to do it. The man was very heavy accented and said his name was Frank Jackson. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he wanted me to call back, which I didn't. I waited for him and when he got on the phone he said his name was Frank Jackson too. He said that he was the senior Frank. I was laughing and making them mad abd they ended up hanging up on me. Whar can I do about this. He is calling my family as well.

I would like to say that this person has a jamaican accent and this person hounds us relentlessly sometimes even calling back to back times. He even has the audacity of calling my mother at her work. She is completely worried any ideas?

I received the same call and reported it to the State Attorney General.  They get upset when you request that they only communicate with you through mail, but what slipped them up was that they had an old e-mail address.  This is the second one of these calls I received and I'm learning that they usually stop when you request them to mail you the information.

The caller is a Jamacian with a very heavy accent. He asks for me and when I answer the phone he immediatly asks for my social security #. Should I inform my boss as to what is going on? The phone # is312-281-5282. He went so far as to call my mom and dad in Georgia.
