The guy called me again today at my place of business. Again the first thing he said was social security number. I told him that I knew that he was a fraud and to never call me at work again. I have also informed my boss of this situation

I got the number blocked from my home phone but they still call at my place of employment. My boss said he would tell this person that it is against the law to harrass people at work.

Got the same call. They left a message that said I was in serious legal trouble. Called my mother and left a threatening message with her. I answered the next time they called and had a very similar conversation with them as all that I've read here. When they started with the threats, I hung up. They called right back. I let them get through the first part of their threats then i quietly informed them that I work for the government and if they called again, I would be calling the FTC, BBB, FBI, CIA and the NFL if they called again. Surprisingly enough - they hung up. Moral of the story - just throw alphabet soup at them but whatever you do, don't give them money.

The gentlemen just left his number (six times) and said that I should call him back.  This is a corporation and I am the payroll manager.  I thought someone was calling for information on an employee

I had been out of the country and wehn I got back I had checked my cell phone voice mail and I had 22 messages from Frank Jackson, with a very heavy east indian accent.  He was telling me that I needed to have my neighbour lady call him as she is in a legal mess and they threaten me int the messages and say that if I didnt have her call, then I too would be in a legal mess.

I report it to the State Attorney General Office.

This number 312-962-5282 called me and said I owed a payday loan for $783, they listed my last 4 digits of my social security and checking account number and said they were going to take me to court and take legal action tomorrow and I would have to owe them $5000. They called my ex because somehow they got her number and harrassed her. This is a FRAUD! F-R-A-U-D....FRAUD!

Hello! My Mother called me at work,at 12:30 on Dec 2nd 2008.telling me my Husband put my mother and his mother down for a payday loan,which he hasn't paid,and better send $893.00 or He will be in big trouble!I asked when did this happen? and I don't get paid until Friday! she then said,please do a Western Union by 6:00pm tonight or everything will be downloaded,and My husband will owe $5,000 dollars! Then I got really mad! I said for one, speak english! and you don't know what the hell you are talking about!I kept telling her I wanted to speak to someone I can understand! Then she said after I do the Western Union,I have to Fax a letter of apology to the Attorney! I said excuse me? What attorney? Then I tried to call back later and it says circuits are busy! So Please don't send money to these scammers!
