Caller knew my name. I don't usually answer unknown numbers, but I'd just gotten off a call regarding my health insurance & though it might be a return call following up. She asked for my date of birth to confirm my identity. I laughed & said' "Of course not. I don't give out that kind of information on the phone unless I know who you are and I placed the call." She sped through some remark about my getting a letter and hung up. I blocked the number and am looking forward to the letter.

Portia from NIA left a message regarding my health insurance. Told me to call her back with my insurance card and member ID number.  I never called her back and if she calls again. I’ll give her some choice words

They called me from this number and similar number. They asked to speak to me by name and I asked “why?” Then they proceeded to ask for me again. I asked “may I ask who’s calling?” And they immediately hung up.

They called me twice today & I don't care how legit they are, if they cannot provide me with my insurance carrier name or at least my Dr's name they get ZERO information out of me!! These days you cannot be careful enough to protect yourself!

Boy you sure left a lot of important information out of that post.  Could you possibly have been more vague?
