Just called my home,left no message,caller I.d. said Market Probe.

Got a call from Market Probe on Dec 10th at 4:28 pm.  I don't care for these market survey telephone calls, so I've blocked the number with my CPR Call Blocker.

Someone using this name/number (Market Probe) has called 3-4 times in the last 2 weeks.

If this really is Market Probe (and not just someone forging their Caller ID), the firm was cited by the FCC back in 2009.

They keep disturbing us, receiving multiple calls per day and no one answers

Its appalling that so many people don't know the difference between telemarketing and research surveys. The DNC registry only applies to telemarketers. I answered the phone and did the survey. It was for my sons medication that he needs to stay alive. I am grateful they called and very glad I too the time to do the survey because I learned I can save $300 a month on my specialty prescription orders.

So I guess Edward Jones cannot hire call centers to help them with their workload.

DNC applies to marketing, not research.

Answer and ask them to stop calling or they will keep calling back a hundred times.

Sued for what ? Did they break any laws ? Market research is legal, the do not call list doesn't apply.

Doubtful unless  they break a law when they call you. You probably had business dealings with the entiry they are calling on behalf of:  Accordingly, under the Commission's rules, it is unlawful to deliver a
  telephone solicitation to a residential telephone line on the National
  Do-Not-Call Registry unless: (1) the call is made by or on behalf of a
  tax-exempt nonprofit group; (2) the call is made by a person who has a
  personal relationship with the called party; (3) the called party has
  provided signed, written consent for the call to be made; or (4) the
  called party has made a purchase from, or had a transaction with, the
  caller within the 18 months immediately preceding the call or has made an
  inquiry or application regarding the caller's products or services within
  the three months immediately preceding the call, and the called party has
  not specifically asked the caller to stop all telemarketing calls.

Call them and let them know. I got my check, it was for $60 but the girl misspelled my name. Could be she misspelled your address?

You may not have done business with a market research company but I bet you did business with one of their clients within the last 18 months or they would not be calling you.

That will only hurt YOUR ears, not theirs.

You are 100% correct, if you tell them please don't call back they SHOULD remove your number from their list.
